A gem within the city of Chichicastenango. Everything is as described. If you plan to visit the Chichi market that is Thursday and Sundays, this is the place to stay. The market is about 1km from camp. Bonus, the weather is perfect here, warm during the day and cool in the evening. There are options for shaded or sun camping spots.

Was für ein schöner und ruhiger Stellplatz. Er befindet sich nur ca. 15-20 Gehminuten von dem berühmten Markt bzw. Friedhof in der Stadt. Es gibt Strom, Wifi, eine sehr saubere und neue Toilette bzw. Dusche mit warmen Wasser. Man hat die Möglichkeit draußen abzuwaschen bzw. Wäsche waschen zu lassen. Überall stehen schattige Sitzgelegenheiten in der Area. Wir haben 100 Quesal für unseren Van uns 2 Personen mit Strom bezahlt. Der Eigentümer Thomas ist sehr nett und freundlich, spricht etwas englisch und ist sehr bemüht um seine Gäste.

Amazing place under trees with all services needed. Hot showers very well maintained, water to refill the tank, dump station, electricity if needed. 100Q per vehicle. Very friendly host.
15min walk to the city center and the market.

We are loving it here and talking of a third night because we don’t want to leave. It’s a little peaceful forest about 15 min walk to center markets. The owners are super nice and caring, pristine bathrooms, a shower and Wi-Fi that reaches our camping spot. They also put out fresh flowers and brought us some oranges and a grapefruit this morning.
Highly recommend.
Ps - they also have camping stuff for rent if you don’t have all you need or your own van.

Most everything has been written in other reviews about this location. Great place to camp under pine trees. Owner Tomas & son Edwardo were very kind & helpful. Easy walk to markets, restaurants, churches & cemetery. We walked everywhere & twice took a tuk-tuk back to campo for only 10Q. Clean banos, no toilet seat but that’s just how it is in Guatemala. Occasion dog barking next door but not owners dogs. Heard wild turkeys during the day so that was cool. I would highly recommend this location to any overlander traveling the Pan-American highway.

Perfect place !
Thomas the owner is very Nice and helpful ! basic toilet and shower are very clean . A lot of Shade . Peacefull place ideal to visit chichi . You can whash (manualy) and dry .

Coming from the north, the square is very easy to reach, coming from the south avoid traveling on market days. The square itself is a forest parking lot and lovely designed. Puddles are also limited when it rains. Warm shower water, a toilet without a seat, Laundry basin. Seating outside with a Rolf, dogs barking a lot. There are only a few places for tall, large rigs because both turning and parking with the branches and trees are demanding. Thomas takes great care of your well-being. Speaking Spanish is an advantage. 100qpn. Dumping for tanks big rigs not possible. relativly quite at night. short walk to the Mystik City. Must See.

Great place to visit Chichi. Tomas and his family are very nice and welcoming. Thomas made a tour with us to show us the grounds and explain flora and fauna. It is a short walk to the city center and the market.

This campsite is very nice, we paid 100Q for a family with 2 adults and 2 children. This is a perfect place to camp before to go to the Thursday/Sunday market. Don't miss the cemetery and the Maya ceremony it is very interesting. Wi-Fi works well, toilet is clean, shower is hot. They are building 2 mores toilets and showers.

The place is very welcoming. The special touch is added by Tomas and his family. They are very friendly and helpful. Upon arrival they instantly prepared for our tent a space under a shelter which is not yet finished but ready to use. They also have spots under pine trees but we preferred the shelter one. The wifi wasn t working at the moment of arrival and Tomas immediately fixed it. They keep the visitors updated with needed information as they informed us about upcoming manifestations and road blocks. There are still improvements going on as they are constructing 2 more showers with toilet. They follow the ecological path and we highly recommend this place.

Great place to overnight if you need shade and to cool down. The spot is located in a little forest. The family is very kind, honest and helpful. I went to the local market on Sunday and it has been amazing. Enjoy your stay here !

We stayed here for three nights to catch the market on Sunday as well as to celebrate our older sons 10th birthday. The owner and his family were so incredible. They brought out a long table and tablecloth when they saw that we were going to celebrate with a piñata. We invited them to share cake with us, and they brought out tea. We had a wonderful conversation. They were very patient with my Spanish, although my wife carries the conversation with her excellent Spanish. They make clothes, and they gifted our son a super cool, black hooded jacket.He loves it! They also gave us a wrapped gift of coffee beans! Lots has been said about the property, which I don’t really have anything to add or subtract from. We really enjoyed staying here and being able to walk to the market easily! I highly recommend this location, and the market in Chichi was the most impressive and authentic of all the markets we hit on our PanAmerican highway trip through the Americas. Q100/night. Super nice place to have some rest in the pines. Pretty quiet and from a walking distance to the market. Spent 2 nights there. Our dog was off leash and no issue. Hot showers, WC and sink. WiFi works great even at the very back of the camping area. Couldn’t wish better.

As described before. Nice place in walking distance to the town center and the market. The owners are super friendly and we had three calm and quiet nights here. Cost is 100 Quetzals/night. Access was a bit tight but manageable for our big rig (9m long, 3.86m high)

We spent two calm nights here. The owner and his wife are so friendly and warmly. There is a shower, flush toilet, sink to do the laundry, water to refill and if you are lucky you can join a maya ceremony. Close to the market and also pet friendly.

This place is currently OPEN. The owner said she’s not sure why it was ever marked as closed. There’s electricity, WiFi, hot water, designated areas for camp fires and large camping spots for tents and/or RVs. It’s beautiful and the people who live here are lovely. It’s also the only area in chichicastenango with official camp sites. Also, bathroom is super clean! Pet friendly, too — our cat and dog love it.

Camping vraiment agréable pour 100Qz/ nuit pour 2 adultes. Nous avons passé une belle soirée au coin feu pour 20Qz. Le WiFi fonctionne bien, la douche et les sanitaires sont propres. Des rituels mayas ont lieu en ce dimanche de Pâques sur le site. Le marché est accessible à pieds.

Nous sommes très bien accueilli par Thomas.
Nous avons des douches chaudes et l’endroit est assez aéré, il y a aussi bien des emplacements à l’abri des arbres que dégagés pour pouvoir charger les batteries.
Le wifi est également disponible.
Mais le gros problème reste les chiens qui aboient toute la nuit. D’autres diront qu’ils n’entendent rien, mais nous avons l’ouïe fine et c’est un véritable enfer.
On se trouve à 10-15 minutes à pied du centre ville ce qui est très facile.
Nous avons payé 100 quetzals par nuit.

a little bit pricey but just a perfect place with very friendly owners. Close to the market/ center and shops. the dogs are barking at night and for the rest it is quiet. recommended.

It's a great RV under trees and with a really nice hostingfamily. Just a short walk to the center and in the night you have a gorgeous and quiet place to sleep.

A beautiful place surrounded by fir trees. Here there are benches and you can make a bonfire for 20 Q(cost for wood).
There is wifi, toilet, shower and you can fill up your water tank (no drinking water). It is a short walk to the center. The owner is very friendly. We paid 100 Q per night.

we camped at Thomas's at camping ecologico. It's a very nice place. Nice baños and hot shower. On the ground, there is a Mayan temple and a ceremony takes place twice a day. You can flush the RV black tank.

Very nice and calm camping under palm trees. 10 min walk to the mercado which happens every sunday.
Very clean and tidy toilets and camp area with a very lovely old owner called tomaso.
100 qtz and very much worth it in my opinion.

Very nice campsite near chichistenango. In the woods with large spaces for the van. Hot shower and toilets very clean. 35pp for a tent and 100 for a van. Owners are so nice, There is a very cute cat and dog

Very nice place to stay and visit the market of chichi. We could buy some wood for a campfire and the place is just perfect. Like said before the owner is super friendly.

Great Place! Clean, lovely owners who make your stay easy. They give you great recommendations about food, items/prices from the market etc. They really care about nature and the local community. Sad that we could just stay one night, perfect for staying longer. Everything as described before.

A perfect spot for visiting Chichi and the market on a Thursday or Sunday. 10 min walk from the center of town. Tomas is very welcoming and did everything to accomodate us. We paid 75Q for the family and RV with shower and wifi. Toilet with tp and clean shower. Water barely warm but ok. We could do a bbq. We met a very nice family there, there were only 2 vehicles. Very quiet. Very very nice people. We highly recommend this place !!

Cute place with friendly owners just a short walk away from the market.
Paid 75Q for two adults and a kid in a camper van. 10Q extra gets you a small pile of fire wood.

We paid 75Q per night with Wifi. Very clean and pleasant campsite. The owner offers free electricity because it is shaded. Clean sanitary. Dump and water on site. 15 or 20 minutes walk from the market

As described the price is 50q if you don't take wifi and "hot shower" option, if you take it it's 75q per vehicle. Water of shower was not really hot, wifi is working well, we were almost at the end of the camping space. We stayed 2 nights, very shadow as we are under pinus trees. Leveled parks, owner is very gentil. If you came from the south, take only the main yellow Google road in Chichicastenango, as the roads can be very narrow in the city!

This is a nice place to stay and visit this nice city wirh a big colorful market and cemetery.
The family give you a warm welcome and is doing a lot to make you comfortable. Bathroom is simple but clean. You can stay at the parkinglot but they helped us to get in th little park. Highly recommend!

This spot is the same as the other one just near in the app. There is only one place and those coordonate are the good ones. Nice place and nice people. There is a parking at the entrance or others places at the back under the trees. Good for tents. Our van is 3,13 m high and we were not able to go inside the tree area because of the trees. He ask 75 Q/night now instead of 50Q. I could get it for 125Q/2nights. He said there is wifi but didnt try it. I saw toilett and water. We didnt slept there and we have found a free spot in the streets.

It's a very good place to camp and visit the village. The family running the place is very very kind. They charge now 50Q just for parking only and 100Q for full service. The now built a campsite in the little pine tree forest behind the parking, but it was not yet ready. We recommend this place

We stayed 2 nights here, if it is dry, it gets a bit dusty when someone drive‘s in.
It is now 75Q for 2 Person and Vehicle.

we found this place, it is an ecological park, 5 minutes walk from the market, where paying 3Q for a tuk tuk. closed and secure parking. the price is 50Q for a motorhome with water and toilets included.
