Friendly and fast gas station. Refilled our European Camping Gas bottles within 10 minutes. (Gardinger bottles 2.5)

Parking lot of shopping center. No signs prohibiting overnight parking. We tucked into the back corner near the entrance to the hospital for a night. No one seemed to mind. Starbucks WI-FI at this site. GREAT restaurants all around.

After a steep climb you will reach this place right next to a lake. En The water is clear and you can easily take a swim here. It is in between two hills

Small private campsite, friendly staff. Outside shower out of order, but he let us use a shower in a unused room. Very helpful. At campsite a picnic table. Very quiet at night. In the store you find coffee, drinks, milk, bread, an ATM.

Awesome pullout ~10km up the FSR on the right side. Great view of Monument Peak and the surrounding areas. Very obvious spot, but it is the last one before you hit private land for the proposed resort at Jumbo. Several pullouts along the way.

Big enough for 2-3 vehicles, especially with RTT or van campers. Decently flat for tent campers.

The local moose approves of this spot, had a visitor first thing!

Great place for overnight stay, close to Yellowstone. last part of the way is steep and rough. High clearance is recommended but we made it in our 2wd Ford Econoline 250 with utility trailer. hardly any room to turn around. Good cell service (at&t and Mint mobile).

Pretty cool place ! Worth going ! Just plan that the bridge from the south road is CLOSED. You will have to go from the 435, the north road. It is bumpy and there is a lot of potholes and big rocks at some point. It will take around 30 min to 45 min once you turn on the dirt road from the 435. But it is worth, we saw caribous, the ghost town is sooo nice! And the shipwreck!!

Quite quiet night, but windy ! The place is really beautiful. Beautiful sunset and a lot of stars.

There aren’t a lot of gas stations on this route. This place is a country store, restaurant, casino, lounge, etc. staff is great! Place is open Al year round. This place is not to be confused with the Traveler’s Rest State Park. GPS and phone signal is spotty at best. The store provides free Montana state map which is really helpful! They also have free Wi-Fi.

Still $15 to dump. $10 if you’re only taking water.
I only needed water and felt it was a bit steep for an essential need. The Irving gas station down the street allowed me to use their water spigot to fill my fresh water tank after I purchased a full tank of Diesel.

Good safe place for an overnight. I only stopped for a few hours to shower, but the road was loud during the day with trucks going back and forth. I’m sure it quiets down at night.

This is the entrance that leads to a numerous possible camping spots. Go down track for 200m the road is rocky. 2wd no problem for us. No cell service. But lots of spots by the lake, peaceful as far enough from the road. A fire pit also. Nobody bothered us.

Several places available. The E8 road can be heard in the distance, but otherwise very quiet.

It’s a pretty nice site. Has plenty of room for bigger rigs and we haven’t had anyone come down the road all day. It appears to be an old forest service road that the filled with tree stumps to close off.

Beautiful campsite with excellent ablutions, grass, shade, wash basins, water and braai’s on site. Right in the beach. And most of all, the most beautiful hosts we had in Albert and Este who manages the camp but actually are involved in mission work on site as volunteers. They will welcome your support!! Highly recommended!!

Pedimos permiso para dormir un martes, hubo algo de ruido pero logramos descansar muy bien. Los muchachos de la bomba nos autorizaron quedarnos y cuando llegó la Policía a preguntar que hacíamos no hubo ningún problema. Está a un costado del Centro Comercial Florida.

Still the perfect place when visiting rainbow mountain. Flat, quiet and only friendly locals around. We started the hike up to rainbow mountain at 2pm from the upper parking lot and had it all to ourselves.

Freshly paved, many nice options for parking.

In the back of the Park Canada building, cute place to stop for lunch :) No overnight parking. Washrooms. Picnic tables and red chairs.
