Good spot just near at the NP. We are stay at the first spot on the road in the forest whith firepit. We had seen a female grizzly bear and his baby on the morning at 10 m of the van.
Really hard to reach the main road when get out with our 19' van.

Pull off area right off the road with 2-track down to the water. The two track is a little steep with big pot holes so we just parked in the pull off area. The outhouse doesn’t have toilet paper so make sure you bring your own. Very beautiful location, just make sure to park/tent a good 15 or so feet from the waters edge because the water rose quite a bit over night.

What else to tell about this place… great to meet many overlanders and share stories. When you arrive you will get a full map and all the info you need about cusco and the region. Super laundry service. Finally our clothes were really clean. Kitchen is big and has everything.

Large parking lot in back of building. Plenty of space for larger rigs. The lot is new and relatively level. If you don't mind the hum of trucks idling, it's a decent spot.

The warmest and nicest welcoming in a Moroccan camping. Quiet and cozy place between palms to stay and relax at least a couple of day. We pay 80 Dhr for 2 people and a camping 4x4 car that includes access to the Riad Lamane's pool (before check in we ask in Riad Lamane to entry to the pool and the fee entry to the pool was 100 Dhr per person).
They makes tahini, we don't order it, but a fellow recommend it as one of the best he ever eat.
Absolutely recommended.

we parked our motorhome on this park, and we spent one night over there. it is not a quiet place, there is a lot of cars passing by, but still we had a very nice night. there is a public bathrooms, very clean, from 8am to 8pm. a lot people running and walking, so it felt very save over there.

Lovely campground, better than many expensive ones and for free!! Sites are apart from each other which gives you privacy. Very shady so not much solar power. Nice lake. Cell service.

Just an update, we stayed the night here, but at 6 am a police man came by and told us it was not allowed to park there because it was a “landslide area”. Otherwise it was super nice, and amazing view of the city in the night.

You get the Permit without the Iraq Visa here. You just need a copy of your Kuwait Visa and your Passport.

Most European Passport holder get the Iraq Visa on Arrival at Safan BP. The Iraq Embassy in Kuwait doesn’t give you the visa if you allowed to get it on arrival.

At the beginning of September, we reached the TR - BG border in the evening at 7:30 pm. Already 600 metres before the border, many cars with Bulgarian licence plates were jammed. We tried again the next morning and were able to leave without much waiting time. It seems that the Bulgarians drive to TR in the morning and back to BG in the evening.
At both border stations, the officials looked into the vehicle. We had to show the animal passport for our dog.
The fee for disinfecting the vehicle still costs 3€/6BGN, alternatively Turkish Lira would have worked.

A beautiful place in the green, where a car passes by from time to time during the day. Good water source, somewhat hidden on the left side between picnic area and chapel.
Somewhat disturbing could be the barking dogs in medium volume, which are leashed in the surrounding garden plots.

from basically the town of Pujili to just before Valencia is about 140km without fuel stations on E30. where I put this pin is at the summit, which is just under 4k meters! and Valencia is only at like 100m. it's a big long pass to climb without fuel. there are some wooden shacks on the side of the road that sell fuel for double the normal rate, but we weren't going to make it without and had to buy this questionable fuel. be smarter then us and fill up ahead of time! the road otherwise is mostly in good condition.

somewhere around this pin (sorry, I forgot to drop a pin when we were stopped) there was a police traffic stop. they didn't ask for the tip, insurance or passports, they were checking expiation of drivers licenses only. if you're running around with an expired one then I would consider not coming this way.

Nice place with plenty of space for any kind of Camper. We stayed behind the big gravel pile.
We stayed there during a summer thunder storm, the pile and the trees gave good cover.
No Noise from the street nothing except Deer, Birds and Gravel.

We parked our RV at Sunrise Beach Resort for three weeks while traveling to Zanzibar. The vehicle was well guarded and safe there, we even received photos of the car from the manager via WhatsApp. We also generally liked the Sunrise very much, that we spent a total of 5 nights there before and after our trip to Zanzibar. The resort is located away from noisy, bustling Daressalaam on a beautiful stretch of beach where you can have a swim and also take beautiful walks on the beach. You can freely choose your pitch on the large area and we were in the first row with a direct view of the sea between a few coconut palms. We tried the food in the restaurant and were completely amazed. Here, a wide variety of very authentic dishes from Indian cuisine are freshly prepared, which taste absolutely delicious, from chicken tika masala to lentil dal, paneer masala to fish curry and delicious papadam and naan. A clear recommendation! The best, however, are the very friendly and attentive staff, both the service of the restaurant area, the security or at the reception. However, the soul of the resort is the manager Anu from South India. He makes everything possible, takes care of all his guests' concerns and there is no problem that he cannot solve quickly, competently and reliably. Be it printouts for tickets, money transfers or organizational help such as for shuttle services. When we came back from Zanzibar, he had already had prepared a multi-course Indian menu and ice-cold beer for us after we asked on the way back via Whatapp whether it was basically possible to have something to drink and eat after our arrival. The service here is absolutely great! Seabridge and overland buses are also happy to park their vehicles here for a few days when their guests travel to Zanzibar. So call ahead if there is enough space.

Small campsite adjacent to 5 safari tents. Communual ablution with a shower, basin, toilet and urinal. It was once a beautiful setup but neglect is evident. No road noise but it is part of a working farm.
