From Cafayete to north not easy to find the entrance. It is just after the curve. Quiet and nice wild camping. The winter time there is less water on the river. Sunset and sunrise was spectecular. It was nice feeling to stay one night between red cliffs. Our rig was around 8m not easy to turn back. It may be difficuilt for bigger rigs turn back. There is limited tiny room for parking. It would be bettero check before entering the spot by walking. It is about 400meters to the main road

an official Guardaparque came to say us that it was forbidden to sleep in this area...
Report Check-InQuite quiet night, but windy ! The place is really beautiful. Beautiful sunset and a lot of stars.
Report Check-InAt the end of the plane area track or we slept with our heavy weight. Very quiet night by the river with views of the capakate canyon.
au bout de la piste zone plane ou nous avons dormi avec notre poids lourd. nuit très calme au bord de la rivière avec vue sur le canyon de cafayate.
Report Check-InStill a wonderful and peaceful place. If you have a 4x4 you can even go directly by the river. View is amazing, we spent 2 nights there and we enjoyed a lot!
Report Check-InWe really enjoyed the place although it's rather windy. In the morning we took a dip in the river. (it was just about 20cm deep but still refreshing and very nice). Just be carefull around the river because of the needly plants. Very clean - we hope it will stay this way. Be responsible!
Report Check-Invery nice spot at the end of an unpaved little road. coming from cafayte turn left, you will see the start of the road.
wonderful view, well hidden from the main road, quiet & calm. a bit windy in the afternoon like most places here.
suitable for non-4x4 like us. tent-friendly as well. and there is a bigger area for rigs and for turning just before the river.
