Amazing first stop in CR! This is the most organized place we’ve seen on our whole time since Mexico, they even provide rubber boots and a tree guide for your nature walk! Saw lots of monkeys and a sloth! A great deal at $5pp in CR.

We bought some parts to repair our rooftop tent and toldo. They can make holes and bend iron and have different parts available. So if you need something to fix you can go here.

We had a flat tire in the Chaco, because of a huge branch we've hit. I added a picture to proof that these guys can make everything:) Really friendly and helpful. Freddy the guy that works there speaks English and helped us with some other stuff. Highly recommended if you need new tires or a tire to fix. They can order tires and the next day have them ready. We didn't use that service, but good to know.

Good luck!

Lovely park. Stayed at a pull through during heavy rain. In the morning the birds were enjoying the huge tall trees that shelter the campground.

Really lovely quiet place outside Menongue. It's not on Google maps yet, so I thought it was closed, but I mailed Stefan and he has workers here, who will welcome you. Very friendly people. The villa is incredibly beautiful and I decided to take a room. I will not share the price, as I think Stefan gave me a big discount out of pity :D
Camping is 3000 kwanza.
it's asfalt almost all the way, then a few kms of dirtroad with some sandy patches, then 100 meters of sand. When you arrive it doesn't look like anything, it's not until you enter the house, that you see thd magic. Make sure to look in the books about Angola on the coffee table.
The room is like a dream, the livingroom/kitchen is beatiful and I was allowed to use everything. Decided to stay 2 nights.

Slept here last night in our 23 foot sprinter. Did not see any signs of “no parking”. There is some road work. I would recommend space for only one RV here.

Stayed at the first of three sites. Quiet at night, great stars, clean. Lovely meadow with wildflowers, so please only walk around on the actual campsite so it doesn't get destroyed.
Plenty of level space for a larger rig and tents.
The start of the road leading to the sites is slightly bumpy, but definitely subaruable.

From Guinea to Ivory Coast. Very long process. We finally succeed to leave until the night. Actually, you absolutely need a "laisser passer" and they take a lot of photos of passeports, visas and our car !
Very long process

Still nice and tidy. Small shade for cars and tents, but shady sitting at the river. 15 € without electricity.

I was a bit nervous staying the night, because part of the road around the lake has been blocked off with huge boulders and there are signs that say “no off road use by any vehicle”, and while the camping spots seem to be accessible by well used paths, they aren’t really “roads”. Dont know how long those signs have been there, and maybe the camp spots don’t count. I don’t know. Didn’t see anyone patrolling at night or in the morning, so probably fine. There was already one other van there when I got to the actual campsite at the edge of the lake, so when I saw them I felt a bit better.

Only had a smell from the lake for about 30sec, and other than that didn’t smell anything. There are birds that call through the night, and slight road noise, so if you are a light sleeper it might not be the best spot. I’m a pretty heavy sleeper and slept great. No natural shade, so plan accordingly, but depending on your setup it could be a great spot for you when visiting WSNP.

Fantastic mechanic!! Giorgio is a great mechanic have a complete think for any problem. Have a lot Space for motorhome.

We stayed here twice within three weeks. It is a perfect location if you’re meeting someone at the airport. Our camper is too tall for the airport parking lot so this was ideal as it’s just a 5 min taxi ride. We slept surprisingly well on both nights. Be warned though, the train tracks are still in use, so you will hear noise first thing in the morning.

Access road is still with big washout, so no large 4x4’s recommendable.

Great little park, campground. Stayed 3 nights. Great walking trail all the way to downtown and the on site cheese museum. We were the only campers on the second and third night. I definitely would come back here again and will.

Nice quiet hostal. Four rooms in a wooden house with 4 beds each. 110 Soles for 2 pers. No breakfast. Beautiful green surrounding, very clean good beds, semi-hot shower (who needs more in these temperatures?) Average WiFi. Very nice hosts. Washed our clothes for free. Good for one night or longer. Definitely recommended!
