the road is washed out means that the road is cut at one point, destroyed. but there is still some place to park before. and who knows, you could mean fantastic people as I did when I was there :)

Likely one of the most beautiful places I have ever camped! I have a jeep so was easily able to get around the washout and camped in a low spot closer to the lighthouse. Unbelievably beautiful!!

Really great spot, super quiet, good internet connection, space for 1 or 2 rigs if you park at the end of the road and the other one a little further where the road is wider (that's how we did set up when we saw the other rig already there). There were seals in the water nearby! Highly recommend this spot.

We strongly recommend sleeping here. The view is amazing and very peaceful. Great sunset. We also saw seals.

When we arrived the "proper spot" was taken by another van, but we found out that the road is washed out (impossible to go any further) so we decided to park directly on the road. We did not regret it.

Few locals came by as they walked up to the lighthouse, but they were friendly and agreed that since the road was washed up they saw no problem with us sleeping there.

Spectacular place! The sunset was magnificent!
Access road is still with big washout, so no large 4x4’s recommendable.

crazy beautiful here, omg the sunset is to die for 😍. I saw several seals too. This spot can only fit 1 van, mine is a Dodge get away camper van. Anything bigger and wider will have a hard time parking at this spot because it's not level, and the road in him is quite narrow. My van is 7ft wide (see photo attached), so estimate yours. If you have a bigger rig, it's better to park at the other spot where the road end. You cannot drive all the way to the light house. This is the last spot to turn around, you can't turn around if you go farther than this spot. Like others said, the road is damaged and cut off, you can only walk to the light house on good weather condition. I would not recommend this spot on bad weather condition if you're not 4x4, however you can still park at the end of the road and walk in. The landscape is so stunning, definitely worth a visit.

Fantastic soot!! Very quiet. Beautiful sundet. Beautiful view of the island and the lighthouse. I ll totally come back!! Internet connection good. 💛

Nice beautiful quiet spot close to lighthouse but road is washed away on the way to it you cannot drive all the way to it but there are spots by the road to park overnite and turn around our 8m sprinter.
