As we passed by it was open, we didn't take fuel but saw people doing so. We bought some biscuits and drinks and filled up water at the tap behind.
Friendly and helpful people working here.

We asked to sleep here as by bycicle no other place was in range. After letting us wait about 30 minutes because the "chief" wasn't there someone finally took the decision to show us a small house we're we could sleep.
No electricity but running water aviable.
The next morning at 6:30 the "chief just entered the house as we were sleeping and asked us for 100 pula for the night. He explained that if he did a receipt it would be expensiver. He was in a hurry as he was going to Maun. For us it is clear that the money went into his pocket and not for the park...

Amazing stop, great views from the top of the hill and a neat old fire lookout. Met a German couple here that were really friendly with their van imported from Germany!

There are two signs posted for no overnight parking and no camping. We did not stay here overnight. A great spot to do the walk out to the spit though!

Great place to stay, nice flat area where you can park the car with an amazing view on the Amazone and the vulcano. Nice place to walk or just sit down and enjoy the view. Take a look in the small museum, it is really interesting. The owners know a lot of medicine plants and they grow a lot of food. We tried dragonblood on our small wounds, we don’t know that in Europe. Possible to take a shower, go to the toilet, use the barbecue enz. They are also building a cafetaria and a lodge, so in the future we hope to stay there!

Beautiful spot right on the lake. Free. There is plenty of palapas around you can use for free as well. Local fishermen sell talapia at the end of the road. The road to get here is unpaved, a bit bumpy and a bit narrow in some spots, no 4wd needed. Big rigs might find it a bit hard.

L’entrée est difficile à voir, elle est tout de suite à côté d’une maison. Point de repère: tout près de l’escalier qui mène à un monument. Beaucoup de bateaux à moteur le jour.

Ok place close to the road. Paid 150 pp for camping. They sell cold beer for 35 NAD a can. The place is in the shade before the sun sets.

The terrain is very rugged in some areas. Took us a few attempts to get access with our truck camper however some managed to get a 30’ airstream out there. One of the blocked access routes has a sign that says No Trespassing but people seemed to ignore it and go around through other routes. Most of this area requires good ground clearance and recommend 4wd. There is a lot of sand the further out you drive

We had the entire place to ourselves on a Friday night. Flies were a bit much during daylight but the stars at night were breathtaking. Sunset was gorgeous too! Pit toilets are near the very last shelter in the back. I loved this site!

ONE THING: don’t use the coordinates. They tried to take me around a back way that probably wouldn’t have worked. It’s right off 380, just look for it on the left if you’re heading west.

There is an extended parking lot next to the building after the power lines that is empty and well lit, but it is next to a busy road. Also on the opposite end of the strip mall is a 24/7 gym and plenty of nearby restaurants.

Might be able to use a Water Bandit but the only parking spots are a row of handicap spots, and it’s the passenger car-only parking lot. Not recommended to try to fill an RV.

As reported, they had a few free places when we arrived. Nice placing on broad river, a place to swim, some cottages (€30-150). We paid €22 got two people and a van (without electricity). Two minus points: the road can be clearly heard (fairy quiet at night though). All night a sound of far away buzzing (fairly obvious, i think it is some kind of transformator unit or electric factory) in the forest. Very annoying.

We stored our truck here for four and a half months. We CANNOT confirm the many positive entries in iOverlander. Not particularly suitable for larger vehicles.

Rather hectic. The Argentinians are not stamping passports today and only using the digital copies of the entry forms. No internet so be sure to have copies screenshot or downloaded. Did not check vaccination documents or insurance despite saying they would.

The horse shit is still present but the place is solid. Rumor has it the the two story building to the southeast you can see from the picnic area is a hostel, but the owner wasn’t interested in hosting when I was there. It’s the building with a blue water tank on top. Only second story you can see from the BBQ area.

The park works just fine. There’s lights too that help feel more secure. The footpath traffic died down around 21:30. Water hose flowing without a tap like a Las Vegas water show.

Local neighbor Sylvia is a treat! She speaks German, Italian, Spanish and English. Very nice and helpful.

Market on the corner has made to order empanadas that are worth it. Smaller, order of 6 or 12. Six is good for one person.

We staid at the other side of the river. The most beautiful view!
No shadow so can get hot but worth it to enjoy the view for one night.
No water accessibility and the bushes are a risk for ticks.

A little gas station with gasoline and diesel. You have to go to the supermarket to let them know you want gasoline. We were running out of Guarani, but had euros with us. The friendly owner Edgar made an exception for us that we could pay with euro's. Really nice! At that moment they didn't have gasoline. So he asked a farmer if we could get some gasoline at his farm and that was not a problem.
We also had a flat tire and Edgar helped us to let it fix by a truck driver :) He also have an air compressor if your tires need some air.

Great hidden spot primarily for camping, accessed by a lame that can get wet and muddy so 4x4 is required. Parked on eastern side of the tributary and carried camping gear over. Alternatively, park North of the main road and walk down the tributary (small bridge is blocked by wooden posts). Very quiet and secluded, can confirm that the only noise is the river. Plenty of fire wood (drift wood) lying around.
