got a room today without a reservation. I asked for the cheapest option and got a bedroom for 2, payed 15.000 CLP. Dinner would be 6.000 CLP, but I ate something in the city center. Really good WiFi, fast and stable. Owner is very nice. My motorbike got a safe place behind the house, maybe a second bike would fit.

Quiet spot that we had to ourselves in mid November. Room for maybe 30 but more than 12 or so would feel cramped. It was quite cold and very windy. The BEST vault toilet I have ever used! Only 4 stars because inside the loop, and outside in the surrounding area is inundated with prairie dog mounds, which is fine, but we had dogs that are supposed to be on leash as we are still in the national park here (I think) which made for interesting potty times.

beautiful place, stayed here for three nights, absolutely quiet off-season
for those who miss 4wd or if there are issues with the original spot: there are plenty of nice places around the beach bars in the south. just follow the road down to the end and pick a place along the beach. off-season all the bars are closed.

Nice place for a night. Good for the view on the dam and good for a small walk in the area.

Follow the road until the end and choose a flat place. There are trees to prptect of the wind if you need.
There are some house around the dam, so check before to ask if it's ok just in case.
Nobody around, just the maintenance guy saw us in the morning and ask why we stay here.
He was friendly and let us.

Network coverage.

FREE CAMPING, Its in the wayne National Forest near Ironton, OH. smooth roads but very narrow. It has a pit toilet and plenty of spaces with fire pits. NO CELL COVERAGE(version) unless you hike up the hollar to the top of the ridge. some of the more open areas near the creek are muddy and you could get stuck. There is a dump station on your way in by main the lake Vesuvius area. A great free camp site recommended if you're in the area. nice quiet night. and yah just might see a sasquatch. Thank you for this place.

Probably still the cheapest option in town. 1.200 for a double room, with basic breakfast!
Run down hotel, but everything works (AC, TV, fridge and hot shower).
Safe parking.
They opened their restaurant at the sea front again.

It is a space that aims to value, disseminate and disseminate information generated and produced about the countries of the Continental Amazon, formed by Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Peru, Suriname, Venezuela and French Guiana.

The CCPA has a dome with around 150 seats and an auditorium with a capacity for 70 people, in addition to a large concert arena with a capacity for 17 thousand people seated. In the upper external part of the building are found the records of rock icons representing several Amazonian countries.

The complex provides access to research, through the collections, at the Mário Ypiranga Monteiro Memorial and Library, Arthur Reis Library, at the Samuel Benchimol Documentation Center and at the Emídio Vaz D'Oliveira Children's Library. It also has spaces for the general public to visit, with refined temporary and permanent ones, among which those that represent daily life in the Amazon, such as the Casa do Caboclo (with decoration and utensils typical of the houses of the riverside population); Sugarcane Milling (reviewing the sugarcane economic cycle); Yanomami xapon; Barracão do Guaraná (showing the steps of handcraft production of the stick product); Casa da Farinha (with setting and tools used in the artisanal manufacture of manioc flour); Tapiri de Smoking Rubber and Casa do Seringueiro, in addition to the representation of regional transport, through canoes.

The North Man Museum is part of the CCPA's facilities, which has a collection of 4,116 pieces, including the Noel Nutels Collection, a sanitary doctor who dedicated himself to work with indigenous peoples in the Xingu Park. Also in the museum are collections of the National Indian Foundation (Funai), highlighting indigenous masks for rituals, adornments, canoes, mats, archaeological fragments and ceramics with various pieces and artifacts.

The Mário Ypiranga Monteiro Memorial and Library has 15 thousand volumes. The collection, by the writer who gives the place its name, is made up of rare works, special collections and books of his authorship. At the Samuel Benchimol Documentation Center, 33 computers connected to the internet and the most modern equipment for document processing are made available to the public. The space is intended for Amazonian research, with the objective of collecting, treating, making available and managing collections about the region.

On one of the inner sides of the building is the Passarela dos Arcos. It comprises nine arches, with images of the nine nations that make up the Amazonian territory and information (trilingual – Portuguese, English and Spanish) on totems distributed at the site.

there is a space large enough for our 37' RV and tow rig. grate little spot for a night and not to far from the beach access.

It's a bit of a mess from prior campers here. looks like some come out shooting.

we cleaned it up a bit but it could use a little more.

as an added note, we took our jeep and the road beyond this point isn't friendly to large rigs. there are potholes that will be quite difficult to cross. 4wd suggested in rainy months.
