Camped in the car park, nice and level but not massive. Had use of a nearby toilet and cold shower. Warm shower available at extra cost - would have to open a chalet. Secure car park with security present overnight
Lovely view from the restaurant and gardens. Allowed us to bring in our own hot drinks and eat our own breakfast in the gardens.

Bar and restaurant on site. Didnt est but extensive options. Also the possibility of hiring bikes/kayaks.

We stayed in a room. $ 75 per room pn. It’s a great place. Very nice people and good food. Nice view on Lake Kivu. Highly recommended.

The camping is pretty average in the parking lot. We negotiated 20 000rwf per night (22$) which I still think is too expensive but the view is spectacular from the sitting areas. They light a communal fire in the main seating area at night. The staff were exceptional and we really enjoyed their charisma. Food is expensive for the portion size but the wifi and the vibe are great. Cold shower (not too clean) and using restaurant toilets (clean). All in all we did enjoy our time.

As others have said; you camp in their quite small parking park. However, don’t let this turn you away! The location is excellent and if you want to swim and relax in nice sun beds for a couple of days l, this is your place!

Payed 15 000 for a car and managed to get breakfast included for that price.

They opened a room for us to use the shower. It later became occupied which meant no more hot showers. Cold showers are always available.

Nice cheap fish restaurant nearby.

Nice location but the carpark is small and busy so it's a little awkward. They asked for 15,000 but we negotiated 10,000rwf for 2, which I think is all it's worth considering there's no real campsite.
Toilets are clean and nice, shower as mentioned isn't great...just swim in the lake! Great beach area, nice bar/restaurant and they light fires in the evening.

Wonderful place to hang out and spend time. Staff fantastic, really make this place special. Food very good (but pricey for what you get, especially breakfast). WiFi OK.

All that said, you are just camping (rooftent) in a small gravel car park and using the restaurant toilets. A bit awkward, no privacy and you can hardly set up and cook your dinner among the other cars! Shower is a mouldy cell with cold water (they bring you a bucket of hot and a clean towel), the floor is very wet and the only place to put your things is a single rusty nail in the wall.

We could happily spend a night or two here for the price we paid, 10,000RWF pn. But we were told to update this app as the price has gone up to 15,000RWF pn, and the old price will no longer be offered. For that I would not be so happy with what you get, and would definitely insist they open a room to give access to proper bathroom facilities.

Everything stated as below, Camping in the Car Park. Public Ablutions were okay but not always clean. The cold Shower is in a little, dark and smelly Shack but they brought us a Bucket of warm Water, Soap and even Towels. Restaurant is good, Wifi is free but slow. Beautiful Garden with Lake Views. Very friendly Staff! We also paid 10.000 RFr per Car (5.000 RFr pppn).

Very romantic stay at this paradise ! Staff was very friendly ! Camping is 10 000 per vehicle (not per person), parking is a bit small and doesn't fit many vehicles. We had access to a room for shower, very clean place !

Very pretty location. Tent camping is on the small lawn just in front of the beach, 10 000 fr. I got my hopes up for the wifi, which occasionally did experience a burst of speed for a few seconds, but was for the most part extremely slow, and only worked in the restaurant. I didn't get any special breakfast, it was in fact quite tiny for the price.

Beautiful lodge with excellent views and good food. Sleeping on the small parking lot is not so great but pretty quiet at night. Except for the loud party going on at the neighbours. I could get a room for ablutions but didn't take it because I didn't need a shower and the public toilet was very clean. Food takes a long time to arrive so order early. Paid 10.000 ugs pppn. wifi is incredibly fast! Fastest I've seen in months. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere. If they would offer some real camping it would be a perfect place!

I didn't get spoiled with fruit and pancakes at breakfast but I did receive a very unusual and friendly goodbye, including flowers being throw at me when I drove off!!!

Agree with Jolle. Very nice place right on the lake. Camping in parking lot and ablutions are okay. They let us use one of the rooms for a hot shower. Otherwise its cold water shower, and a bucket of hot water. Excellent breakfast and dinner was really good as well. Fast internet, perfect for updating the blog.

Very beautifull and nice place to stay! super friendly staff. camping facilities are not te best, but we got spoiled with nice fruit and pancakes for breakfast and they gave us little present and surprises when we left. camping on the parking lot wich is surrounded by beautifull flowers.. Nice garden on the lake site and very nice decorated restaurant where the even made an campfire.. and the food is good aswell!!
As you can read we are very enthusiastic about rhis place and definitly recommend it!

We stopped here after trying la belle camping first - it was too expensive( see the review). We came for dinner but they said we could camp too. Using our own or their tents. They let us camp on the grass right on the lake. Stunning spot, wifi is fastest we have had in a long time, and they are super relaxed. Use the restaurant bathrooms which are ok. Flush toilet. I did not use the shower. Cost $20 for the two of us. Food was very good, staff friendly and place secure. I recommend it.

Place has a nice lake view and a nice bar/restaurant. We could camp on the parking lot. The toilet is also used by the day guests, cold shower but they can sometimes make some hot water. In the restaurant is a power connection, not at site. We paied 10.000 per night 2 person.

Parking lot campsite, excellent beach, you can paddle there boats to their private island. Excellent place to relax
