Was right above a residence area. Cool graffiti and lots of space prior to the skate park that was totally fine to be in. People going to hikes up there during the day were nice. Was here to stay up in elevation while I needed to do town stuff in palms desert and it was… just too hot down there. This elevation had the spot 10 degrees cooler.

Good facilities, a bit noise from the interstate. Good Place to stay for one Night.

Many exchange offices. Got 1.455 per dollar, best I could get here today.

Nice spot. Still $20. There is a self pay station if you arrive late, lots of signs about checking in before 9AM if you do so.

Two spigots at this rest area. Water turned off at both and both marked non potable.

Next to water fountain. In front of restrooms. Next to handicap parking sides. Blue painted handle. Good flow.

Это одно из самых необычных скальных образований, которые мы встретили на нашем пути за 6 месяцев путешествия по Южной Америке. Трудно доступное, высота от 4700 до 5000. На узкой дороге мы не нашли место для парковки и остановились на обочине. От главной дороги (с востока) ехали более 2х часов. После Чоколка мы поехали дальше по этой же дороге. Она была не указана на картах. Довольно неплохого качества. Но за пару км до главной дороги стала катастрофически ужасной. С божьей помощью проехали. Наш Sprinter 2WD сделал это 👍

Good spot to take a break on the PE3S next to the lake. The night was very quiet. The most practical way to reach the spot is to go around the lake by the right side (coming from the PE3S, maps.me indicates it correctly).
There is no asphalt around the lake but the track is relatively good.
Lots of birds in the morning.

Did this hike with a dog starting from nearby Ukshapungo (iOverlander pin). Ask Manuel where the trail begins. Went clockwise and took 4 hours.

An employee saw our dog and just told us how beautiful he was. Lots of signs at the entrance that they aren’t allowed, but nobody seemed to care once we passed the entrance/exit after hiking clockwise (to maximize time before potentially being kicked out for our dog).

Awesome hike, definitely recommend it. Easy and interesting. Gets hot quickly, start early.

very friendly welcome from Cedric who knows Paraguay well and gives good information. The place is relaxing and very clean. You have access to a very equipped kitchen, lots of choice in the "mini" (rather maxi) bar. But also meals concocted by Chef Cedric with very good products, including Swiss cheese fondue (local), raclette (local German charcuterie), etc. We spent the day on an island in the lake eating in the shade, great! We highly recommend.

Very nice. Thanks guys. Entrance easy to find from the main road. A traffic sign tells you there is a xing. When you come from the west it's a bit of a hairpin when you turn right. From the east side it's easy peasy. We believe this spot is the best choice between here and Batumi along the main road. Easy access for all rigs. Pretty clean. No dustbins.

No issues getting up there. Some downed trees here and there but easily avoided.

Reasonable size place, room for at least 4 vehicles each with their own little clearing, more if you park next to each other. Right by the water and lots of wildlife. Two cars arrived around 11pm and were playing music loudly until 1am, similar to another users review, but otherwise didn't cause any issues. Two entrances from the highway, the southernmost one looked unusable to me, the northern one was a tight corner then a very narrow track with lots of branches hanging over the track, and also be careful of the reasonably large drop from the tarmac to gravel if the back of your vehicle overhangs the back wheels a long way. We just about managed it in our old 24ft RV.

Spot 14 worked great for our 27' travel trailer. Fantastic views and clear view of the north sky for Starlink.

Balneário com boa infraestrutura: água, energia e banheiros bem limpos: fora de temporada, 0800! pretendíamos ficar 2 dias, mas ficamos 1 semana; no local mercearias e na cidade, distante 4km, bons supermercados e comércio variado.

Richards camp is way way better than everything you will find in Tanzania. Dry grass stands with power and WiFi. Clean ablution with sit toilet and shower within hot water. Security and outdoor light. There is a kitchen to use and a nice dinning Boma. Richard as guide knows a lot about Serengeti NP and can offer day tours. we paid 20.000TZC pppn and had good fish and chips for 15.000 pp and they arranged some cold drinks.

of course don't speed but be aware police officer asked for international driving licence. In Europa all licenses are even written in English. It took a lot of discussion but he let us go.

For all the travelers: guys you don’t need a fixer, it’s your right to do everything by yourself.
But of course fixers will jump on you, even in a friendly way, to give you (to impose you) their services. This makes all the process even harder because they know anyone (and share with them their profits).
Let’s called it… MAFIA!
it is super annoying. Even I did all by myself, Mortaza took my papers when I was going out of the harbour and forced me to wait 2 more hours because some docs were missing (he said). And of course he pretended to be paid even if nothing were missing.

Se rendre au bout après la descente de bateau. Bel environnement, espace pour marcher et se dégourdir, plage, table a pic-nic, lever de soleil. Les toilettes ouvrent seulement à la fête de la reine donc mi-mai. Parc à chien donc quelques va et vient.

Nice dispersed camping area in the forest. Large sites spread apart. Road is good condition. Near OHV trails which we walked and biked.

I was here for 2 nights, super chill, amazing next to the lake. I even asked at Onkel and they let me use their wifi. Don’t need to pay anything and you can park anywhere you want along the lake here.

Location a little away from the road, with good land for tent camping and motorhomes. The road condition is not the best, but a normal car passes by.

Lugar um pouco afastado da estrada, com bom terreno para camping e motorhome. A condição da estrada não é das melhores, mas carro normal passa.
