There is a fenced parking space & a building here. We arrived at the closed gate and a man came out of the building. He unlocked the gate for us and we were allowed to park on the property while we made the short hike to the lake. We drove straight on afterwards and didn't have to pay anything. You could also camp here for a small fee.

This is the real location. Cheap and clean rooms with own bathroom for 5000 CFA. Electricity all day long. He first told me all the rooms for 5000 are full, but then “found” another one.
No wifi but 4/4 bars if LTE connection with Orange.

the charge was 4 Leones at each toll gate for my Merc sprinter

Stupidly overpriced, I understand imported items being expensive but a small loaf of bread for 120leones? $5?!

This campsite has a great view over Göreme with the exceptional rock formations and excellent facilities. When the balloons start flying in the morning, you can watch this phenomenon from your bed.
You can walk to the center of this lively place in 10 minutes.
In addition, the campsite is managed by the extremely friendly and helpful Ahmet, who helps and serves his guests as best as possible. He helped us to contact a garage for a mechanical problem with our camper.
Highly recommended.

The other viewpoint of the Chilojo cliffs. A bit less dramatic than the western one, but more expansive views. Very easy to combine both, about 15 minutes drive

Exclusive camp on the Runde. Long drop only. There are others with better views, but for isolation, it is amazing. Drove 150kms from Mabalauta and saw no one all day. 27.50pppn as a walk in for camping.

Faces directly west, so very nice for African sunsets

Lots of spaces since the parking lot is adjacent to a hotel. Everyone was quiet except one idling semi, which wasn’t allowed to be there anyway. Would definitely stay here again

Great overnight while getting service performed on your Airstream or getting a factory tour. Recommended for Airstreams only, but don’t see any sign saying Airstream Only. $20 per night. Good cell service

Nice and quiet spot. No signs prohibiting overnight but it is across from a residential area so personally recommend limiting to one night and staying stealth.

A lovely family owned farm in the midst of coffee country. Santiago did our tour (he speaks Spanish, English and French), he was knowledgable, funny and well spoken. We learned about the different ways to grow coffee, picked and planted coffee beans, tasted fruits, saw the old machines used to separate the bean and tasted some good coffee. 40Kpp and it was about 2 hours. We asked if we could camp for the night and yes we could but the owner told us that if it rained the road out might be blocked so we decided to leave (it would be a nice place to spend the night, there was a nice clean bathroom available but no showers).

Only two other vehicles parked for the evening. Well maintained bathrooms a short walk from the lot. A fantastic gem of a find in the park. I can only imagine how busy this place is in the summer!

Spent night parked in front of fence facing airport. From 10 PM til 11 AM next day. No problems. Fairly quiet.

Really nice and safe truck stop. Employees were super friendly. There’s a Dennys here as well that let me charge up my battery bank

No one else was here at midnight on a Wed eve. Parked by the bushes near RV parking. Good nights sleep with ear plugs. Some road noise and chirping birds all night.

We paid 700 som for our car. We arrived late in the evening and could pay the entrance fee at a ticket machine. We made the hike up to the waterfall. It is beautiful mountain scenery and we could see lots of marmots and ibexes. At weekends and holidays it can get crowded as there are many people from Bishkek.

Still not working, but there is another water tap a few hundred meters down the road with good flow.

Great place, but with a westerly wind could be uncomfortable . 120 meters to the west is the beach access , you can drive your car in morning and go for a swim.

Along the track are spaces for vans , would not do it with a MH or half integral but a campervan (6 mtrs) should be fine.

Excellent location just outside Williams. Mobile phone reception is great, open areas, a LOT of people out here. Not one noise all night so everyone was very respectful. No rubbish either! There is tress at some locations for shade closer to the entrance but further back its more open. We noticed some water laying around so pick your location carefully. No facilities.

We found it very expensive for what you get. Only one shower and toilet for campers, the food (buffet only), which was not an experience, now costs 95 RS per person and the pool is no longer included but costs 20 RS extra. As billions of mosquitoes had just hatched, we could hardly stay outside. Without mosquitoes, the complex is really beautiful and you can see lots of animals.

Hospedaje simple and clean. We slept well. Possible to store the bikes inside. To get the keys, you have to go to the supermarket of the same name in the village. S/40 the matrimonial room with shared shower

We ate well here. Evening menu (soup, secondo and drink) for S/10 (chicken) or S/12 (alpaga). The quinoa soup super good

The renovations are done, they're open now !
They have a secret ingredient: the love ! And they put it in everything, in the breakfast, in the so cute animals they have, in the materials they used to renovate this place, etc.
A must do in this area!

Nos quedamos dos noches en esta plaza que es bastante tranquila. Los policías son muy amables y te indican donde parquear. Los vecinos son tranquilos y no se hacen problemas con tu presencia. desde el parque puedes caminar hasta el obelisco e ir a comer unos ricos chicharrones al mercado.
