Padoca no campo is a wonderful place, surrounded by nature, waterfalls and excellent neighborhood! The hosts are very kind, it was hard to say goodbye. We were there for more than a month. They also offer accommodation (B&B) and restaurant with amazing fresh and local food.

Beautiful, large state park surrounding Lake of the Ozarks. 182 sites. Can book online same day. We checked in at arrival. Wooded, private campsites with fire pit 50/30 amp available for $25. Not sure if water hookups as we chose a site overlooking the lake with no hookups. Only $15. $2 discount for Srs and Military. There is fire wood available at camp store. There are showers and laundry facilities. Can bring a boat as there’s a marina at base of campground. Lake is a bit muddy now but apparently they will fill from Truman lake soon and mud will settle. Nice spot for R&R and/or family vacation.

One of the noisier overnight stays at a CB, but not enough to keep me up! Relatively level spot, no complaints!

It's near the road. You have to put the tent at night. Nice sunset and view. No electricity, no water.There is a big chain so a van cannot park there. It's ok for bicycle or motorbike. 2 tents.

Cheap and basic hotel next to bus terminal, 35,000 cop for two people + one dog + parking. 30,000 cop without parking. Accepted our big dog. Has large gated parking lot with tall gate.

I asked in the street for a place to stay for the night and they sent me to this house where some rooms were available. 25 soles, ok for one night. Possiblity to do some bike cleaning in the courtyard. Other places like this in the village, another one I asked was already full.

Rest area, not far from Elma. We and 4 other RV's stayed overnight without any problems.
Men's tiolet was locked overnight, there were portaloo's that could be used. The women's toilets were not locked.

Along the main track, several people indicated a false mechanical problem on the car (on the wheel), the pseudo mechanics entered us far from the center and dismantled the steering parts (ball joints). they want to sell us new coins for 500 soles. we refuse and they leave, our management dismantled! another mechanic helps us and tells us that everything is actually fine. a nice scam known here apparently... be careful and beware!

was a windy day and we found a spot protected from the wind crossing the damp. rocky surface, hard to set up the tent but not impossible.

arrived on a Tuesday 3pm. workers were really kind and showed us where we can park for the night without disturbing them. stayed for 2 nights.
got bitten from a lot of insects while washing the salt and sand off from the car (only a few mosquitos amongst them). but only during that time
with our 5.6 m long van and a bit of clearance we had no problem, but I assume the place down the river is not recommended for big rigs. closer to the road there should be sufficient space for any vehicle.

Nice flat area in the wood. Suits for 3 or 4 small Rv. Access to the lake by walk.
Good night and quiet evening if we can hear a little the road. Close to Carcross.

Nice clean car wash. Big enough for our 12 feet high RV.

Nice open lot. Parked in the back closer to the Mattress Warehouse and it was quiet at night. Plenty of food and gas nearby. An ihop and Starbucks in the same area too.

Nice drive from Copacabana. It's a dirt road. If no rain, it's a pretty easy drive with the rainy seasons a bit muddy. There are a couple of view points and restaurants on the way.you can take a tour to Isla Del Sol or Isla de la Luna from here as well.

We arrived after sunset, we were alone and didn’t feel safe. It’s very close to the road and no cell service so we left.

Great place between Cusco and Arequipa. Safe. 100% recommanded.

si bien no podés llegar con el vehículo los quinchos están muy bien, completos, limpios, tenés electricidad, agua, parrilla, mesas.

very nice campsites with picnic tables and fire rings. I stayed in campsite #4 .. which had a short path to the lake. the lake smells horrible and there are tons of dead fish but if you have a tolerance for awful smells this is a great place. the entire area smelled like dead fish though so If this is the place you are headed this campground is no more or less fishy than the others.
clean pit toilet. poison ivy around every tree .. spacious level campsites. 5.00 with America the beautiful annual pass . 10.00 without.

Beautiful sunset and sunrise over the mountains. Plenty of space only one other vehicle when we were there. Big rig friendly

They wanted to charge us 150$ for not having insurance and tow the car… would have been a nightmare.
After an hour and a tow truck pulling up in front of us they send us back to Pasto to buy insurance, without a fine.

The fi red t part of the road is very bumpy. The site is as described. Multiple rings and level spots. Peaceful at night.

Can't get to the mine or to the canyon. The way is destroyed. It's necessary to pass through the riverbed with big rocks. We couldn't go with our car 4x4 and a camper. Maybe a weightless 4x4 car could do it.

Rocky Hard packed dirt Road, a few pull off spots, hardly a cell phone signal. Top of the Hill, surrounded by the Mountains Beautiful View These coordinates lead to a big Parking Lot look spot. Bigger Vehicles fit, if not a lot of others already parked or staying. Plus there is an incline to this spot, add deep entry/exit into Camping Spot also. Great signal on TMobile

What a gem of a place. Old school bungalows and camping ground. Obviously been around for years so looks quite neglected but actually well cared for. The campsite is terraced and grassed. Beautiful views over the bay and 10 minute walk to boulders beach. Ablutions old but very clean. We were only there for night but would have liked to have stayed longer. Paid R280 for two adults and one child. Hard to beat when you're surrounded by multi-million Rand properties! We even saw porcupines running around the camp at night.

Spent the night solo and felt quite safe and secure. Awesome FREE site. Toilet wasn’t ideal, but was a helpful amenity to have for those without self contained rigs. Great stay, thanks Gleichen!

Ótimo ponto de apoio para Motorhome! Somos viajantes de Kombi e estávamos de passagem pela BR101 quando descobrimos a floresta. É como um parque Nacional, de acesso livre e gratuito. Fomos bem recebidas e conseguimos fonte de energia, água e banheiro. Pode pernoitar com autorização da administração. Tem vigia 24h. Amamos fazer a parada na Floresta, estávamos com nossos cachorros e eles puderam gastar bastante energia. @levemundonakombi

Really cool place. 10k for camping, rooms from 35k and food between 6k-10k.

Gus is very kind and welcoming. Also the beach is beautiful and the ocean easy to swim.

Looks like they tried to block off the road to the exact spot, but with high clearance you can still go to the spot and camp on the shore of the 3rd lake
