stayed here a night. I have a RTT, the malecon mayor office workers who keep an on ensuring rules are followed did not want us to open the tent until late at night. Also, they want me to park in one spot. Around 10 pm they let me open the tent and sleep.
In the morning around 6 am they wanted me to put rent down. If you have a van or Caravan, no problem.
Tourist police officer, Fabian Godoy is really nice. Say hello for Sonny. He gave me a police hat and a football shirt too.
Please park by the bathroom at the south end as it is very quiet at night.
If you have a van or Caravan no problem parking. Just be self contained. Nothing outside.

This is a nice place to spend the night. Upper steep hill off the road, so a wee bit private… I would not bring a big rig in here.

Great spot. The mirador is broken but you still have an impressive view on the river below and the volcano afar. Space for big rigs. Access to a water tap.

Decent place to stay for one night. There is a sign that indicates parking for RV by the Market side of the Walmart. There was two RVs parked here so it felt safe.

when we arrived, there was a van , si WE return to the entrance if thé riad where there Is a little spot,flat, a little nearer of thé hwy but this night, the traffic wa'nst.a problem. we had a good night. thé place is fine. a good rest before Vegas.

4€ for 10 person dorm with pretty good breakfast! But some need to be change, e.g floor in the room is Always dirty, one shower door and one toilet doesn't close. Wifi is okay, staff is friendly and speaks english. ober all good hostel especially for the price.

With a little maneuvering, we were able to fit 2 class Cs and one small class A into the very last spot on the road. Road is close, but didn't even hear it at all during the night. Road is rutted and not great. but take it slow and you will be fine. Beautiful, free camping!

Very nice place, swimming possible, flat, pitched my tent there. Reachable by an earth track from the road. Some cows and horses around.

Pascale wasn't there, but the manager welcomed me in. Park for about 2-3 vehicles depending on size.

Loved the vibe here. I was the only one. They usually have trucks of tourists come on Monday, for a tour on the river on Tuesday. Still R150pppn. Half day river tour R400pp.

Douches toujours accessibles, et très propres ! Eau chaude et shampoing ! Pour préciser le lieu exact, quand on entre dans la marina depuis la rue, il faut descendre les escaliers au niveau des bateaux, et aller vers la gauche jusqu’à un petit bâtiment marron. Les douches hommes / femmes se trouvent derrière ce petit bâtiment. Des agents de sécurité sont présents sur le site pour renseigner les plaisanciers, pas pour traquer ceux qui viennent se doucher.

Cheap but new and very clean hotel just outside the center with free secured parking. Breakfast is possible at the hotel.

Stayed here for the night. Campsite was fully booked and they offered us to sleep in our rooftop tent or in the beds provided in the Bird Hide. Toilet, shower and braai pit available.
Because it’s a public viewpoint you are only allowed to pitch up tent after 5 p.m and leave early in the morning. We payed 715 ZAR for two people and had a wonderful lonely night enjoying the bush.

I highly recommend!!! What a great 50m swimming pool!!! Each campsite has it's own shadow for only 132NDpppn. The place is peaceful. We ate burgers and milk shakes and it was really nice. What a nice surprise! The staff is really professional and kind. Don't miss this place after or before Etosha 😉

As discribed, way done to fireplace a bit bumpie. Some freedom under car necessary. Beautiful. Access to beach available. 2bars with rogers.

Nice park, location is easy in easy out. Water, Dump, Electric $70 night. We would have dry camped some place if not visiting family.
