magnificentmask31 | Basically a parking lot with full hookups, but if that’s what you need or are into, then it works. There is some green space within walking distance. I only stayed here because the camp grounds were full… |

plannedfield21 | This place is huge, loud, with far too many people for us. We did not stay. Also, it seems to be a mecca for s x s people and there are roads all through the forest surrounding Happy Jacks where they ride. Very loud. |

positiveelevator01 | FREE. No hookups. 2 camp managers/hosts on site. Must check in with them if staying longer than one day. Short walk to gas station, 2 restaurants, post office, and gift shop. Perfect place to stay if you have AC haha it gets hot out here in the desert 🏜️

sonny jadun | After reading the good reviews about the Playa, I decided to come here. By the cananas people tried waving us and trying to sell Cabanas. I told them I had an RTT and planned to camp out by the beach. They waved me by and told me to go to the south side. That is when I came here. I asked two cops sitting by cabanas if it was safe. No problems.

samschanstra | Easy to miss headed south on highway 5. Roughly 30 minutes south of San Felipe. You’ll see the tire on top of the concrete slab and turn there. We were in a Tacoma and had no problem with the roads but be mindful if you have only 2WD or in a car not made to be off roading. Lots of spots to camp on the way in we got rather close to the beach and were able to walk over. Would recommend this spot the sunrise and sunset were insane! Only thing is to be wary of coyotes if you have a dog as we heard them all night. |

tenderstruggle77 | SA: No issues on SA side, long lines but they moved quickly. Some people were a little pushy in the line so stand your ground. MZ: Check your visa before getting to the border, some countries are exempt and had to pay a 200R entry fee, others had to pay a $150USD fee on arrival for an urgent visa (Australians). Eftpos card for visa payments didn’t work for everyone, so be prepared to wait. |

jamieslife | Using iOverlander to plan for an up-coming trip. I have some additional internet skills that other readers may not so the input current error would just cause failure and frustration. It is easily repaired. When I tried to use the property's web link to see more, it gave me a 404 fault. In checking the link provided by the member, it is not correctly formatted; it has an extra "http//" the link should be - http://m.hostel-las-nalcas.webnode.cl. After I corrected the formatting the connection was successful. Please adjust for others. Thanks |

madescape41 | Tried going to this. Coming from Payson on highway 260 and turning left on Rim Rd (across from entrance to Mogollon Rim Visitor Center) but after driving in the road is closed after about a quarter mile. Maybe it’s accessible from the other direction but as of April 15 2024 it’s not from this direction. The drive around would be a lot longer so I didn’t bother to check the other way. |
