We were parked at a mechanic shop the night before but tonight police made us move! brought us here at 11:30 at night. they wanted to charge 95 dh but then relented when we explained to 50 dh as we said we do not need power and will leave first thing in the morning. All showers were locked but we were able to dump grey and black and get water. Pretty quiet but we did hear others say there have been vans that have been broken into here so we question the police "taking us somewhere safer"?? 4G signal.
Report Check-InCrowded, and a 15 min walk from the city but good otherwise. Bathroom, electricity, etc.
Good spot when wanting to visit the city! The walk is nice! (Albeit a bit steep on the way back :)
Report Check-InA nice little campsite with plenty of trees and a relaxed vibe. Good toilets and showers, and sinks outside for washing. Quite high-up from the town, so enjoy the walking.
Report Check-In105 DIR per night including electricity. 2 people and a van. Good place to visit Chefchaouen. 15 min walk. A lot of stairs.
We did not use toilets and shower.
Sometime they offer bread at reception. Nice staff.
Campsite as in Morroco...has trees and shade, calm at night, a few dogs barked but not for long. Cold showers, one has to pay extra for the hot showers and get a key at the reception, probably staying another night. close to town, 10 min walk downhill, taxis brings you back for about 15 dirham
Report Check-InSimple campsite. Facilities are basic but clean. 1 hot shower only. Easy walk to Medina. Staff friendly.
Report Check-InCampground OK because nice sites and good to walk to the city down the hill. But showers and toilette in a very sad condition. You can shower at the hostel at the gate for 1 €. Maybe its getting better once more guests are comming. Good to stay the first night in maroc.
Report Check-InStandard Moroccan campsite that we had expected to be busy as the Covid restrictions ease but to our surprise we were the only ones here, after a few hours a Polish group arrived a a couple of Land Rovers but by morning on our own again. The guardian said that whilst they had been open there was little traffic in the last two years and that he didn’t expect any improvement until Spain to Morocco ferries were running again. We used the Genoa to Tangiers ferry which whilst expensive did the job.
Report Check-InBroke down on the Rif mountain trail and managed to tow the Landy back to Azilan, stayed there for six weeks in Dec/Jan and absolutely loved almost every moment. There are great stores in town, a nice, simple butchery selling spicy sausage and lamb and a wholesaler with fair prices and a bakery all on the R412 below the medina. Fixed the Landy in the campsite (removed the engine to replace the clutch) with the blessing of Youness. Would return for another six weeks in a heartbeat, maybe pitch a tent next to Sabine and her poodle.
Report Check-Inperfect spots between the trees. Clean but cold showers/ washing space. Busy at the bottom with campervans. Higher grounds are quiet en cool.
Report Check-InClean campsite. Beautiful view of the city although you have to come early to get a spot for the view. 95 MAD for 2 people and our 4x4. Extra 10 MAD for hot showers.
Report Check-InThis is an old camping ground designated more for Camper vans that are just in need of power and they are pretty much self sufficient. There is no hot water in the common showers and if you pay 10 MAD extra the guard will open up his own that has hot water for you to use. Facilities are clean but rundown and it is a steep walk up hill from the Medina. As it is the only option it is busy.
Report Check-InOur hearts sank when we realized we would have to push our bicycles up the very steep hill but it was worth it. Lovely campsite overlooking Chefchaouen with a short walk down the stairs into the beautiful Medina. It was quiet and calm during the day with friendly European snowbirds. We loved being able to escape the noise of the Medina for our campsite in the evening. We stayed three nights to get our energy back. We felt very safe and didn’t worry about our bicycles or gear. A bit noisy with dogs baking at night but very nice otherwise.
Report Check-InNice campsite on top of the hill.
Places on gravel and on grassy spots with shade.
Price is Dh90 for 2 persons and 4x4, without electric and hot showers :-(
Ablusion is a bit out dated but functional. Guy at reception speaks good english.
From here you can walk to centre by steep stairs, bit not too difficult. Can be slippery when wet!
This place has a good atmosphere. Not too much Tupperware. It's an easy walk down to the village but a steep climb to come back. Basic provisions.
Report Check-InKleiner CP

Basic camp site. 40mad for a vehicle plus 30 per person, 20 for electricity. Pay extra for hot shower. No lights in cold showers. Way too expensive for what you get.

Restaurant is closed !
Wifi is very bad and slow.

Beautiful place, high above in the Mountain. fabulous views of chefchaouen
Report Check-InNice camping, but more expensive than expected though, 65 dh for one person and one motorbike. I don't agree that wifi is good.
Report Check-InHandy for the town ( 15mins steep walk down - we got taxi back, 30dh for 4 of us) but that's about it. Fairly basic facilities, plus you have to pay extra for hot showers. Okay for a quick stop but expensive for what it is ( 30dh pp 35 for van 15 for ehu)
Report Check-InDonkey trying to eat the food. 30 DIH per person, 30 for our Land Cruiser - we are sleeping in it. Out of season and quite a lot of campers. Thanks for good tip. Only 10 min to Medina blue city.
Report Check-InGood place to stay. Ablutions a bit grubby and dark. Extra 10 dh for hot water shower.
Report Check-InPretty much as described but not sure about the expensive comments. Fair price for what it is in Morocco
Report Check-InMenu pricing: 30D per person,20 per tent and 15 per motorcycle. So for us 110 for two people, two motorcycles and one tent. Bathrooms fairly clean. Didn't use wifi or hot shower. Quiet, lots is shade and flat spaced

Price same as last year 95MAD for two adults and motorhome plus 15MAD for electric. Bathrooms run down but useable, showers cold, can use hot one for 10MAD bar overlooking city at Atlas hotel 500m
Report Check-Inas described, basic and clean, we payed 90 mad for 2 persons and 1 car (3x30), warm shower extra 10 mad
Report Check-InCampsite at top of hill overlooking blue city. Facilities a litre run down and expensive for what you get. Free showers are cold or you can pay for the one hot shower and get a key from reception. Restaurant and small shop on site with very reasonable meals - tagine mainly. Great town to explore but walk back up hill is hard so a taxi for 15MAD is worth it. hotel just down the road from camp has a bar!! Will return here but wish it wasny so dear. We paid 110 inc EHU it's 95 without.
