great place to stop for a day or two. all is good here, quiet. parking is a way from the casino. you can hear some road traffic. Security is driving the parking lot but doesn't bother you. the casino is large and very nice.

Spent the night here because the campground was full at dusk. It was a nice peaceful night.

The campground has a new management. There are new toilets and showers. The pool is clean and nice. Very nice employees.

Great korean restaurant with a small but good menue. We had the Ramen soup, Bibimbap, egg roll, Jasmine tea and Kimchi for a reasonable price. Everything was super delicious. They also serve some sweet pastries and coffee. They have wifi and the staff is very friendly and speaks a little bit English.

Large, flat grassy area, overlooking the river and an old bridge. Visible from the road, opposite a gas station (open 24h). Still not noisy at night. A few locals use the place to barbecue and chill out, but very friendly. We felt safe. Food Claro 4G Signal.

Tried to phone the cell number, 2 hours apart, no answer. Decided to drive there. After a VERY corrugated mountain pass gravel road of 15km only to discover absolutely no one the farm. Had to drive all the way back to Kamieskroon.

Northbound police checkpoint. No problems, fine with copy of license and SOAT. On our way in three minutes.

Beautiful views in green meadows. Great panorama of the mountains and nearby village. A lot of horses, sheep and shepards. All very nice. We even rented a horse from them for a small ride over the hills. Good reception for those who want internet.

Great place for craft beer made by an all women cooperative. Nice atmosphere in the garden terras. Wind down from the busy traffic with tasty (vegan) food. We couldn’t stop ordering the house Double IPA.

Best indoor camping spot near the border with Kyrgyzstan. After some time washing in streams and nearly frozen rivers we found this place after the border crossing to shelter from the rain. It is the most luxury parking spot we have seen. You park next to your room which cost us 12000 tenge (maximum of 12 hours). We assured the friendly staff we sleep with our dog in the van. Probably the best shower in Central Asia. Not a big variety of restaurants in walking distance.
Disclaimer: not sure if they want to be a real camping in the real meaning of the word. We arrived late in the afternoon and promised to leave first thing in the morning. That assured them. So staying low profile is probably appreciated.

We would recommend doing the exit and entry in one day. Sleep at the border and then take the Escort in the morning. For us the border only opened at 8.30. With all the waiting and switching vehicles we were at about 8 in the evening in Bagdad. All very friendly.

Omg really good bread like in Europe! Chocolate rolls are impressive too (1500 ARS each), real puff pastry with good chocolate! The rest of their offering looks delicious too!

Nice beach, with only a little trash. Quiet. Safe. few restaurants around if you don't want to cook.

Nice workshop with very good mecanic. We went there with our Land Rover Defender TD5 (after many other places) and they found out our issue (with ECU). The son and his dad are really helpful and kind (all the family actually).. Do not hesitate to come here if you have mecanic issues..

Good spot for an overnight. Good cell service. A bit noisy but still a good spot for overnight. Restaurants in the area are Olive Garden, Jack in the box, and of course Cracker Barrel. Also Natural Grocery.

Clean Laundromat. Machine's work great. Felt safe. Washer's starting at $3, dryer $2.50. Machine's take coins and cardsmb

parking entre le skate Park et la mairie, beau quartier calme, on y a passé deux nuits très calmes, surtout pour un samedi et dimanche. 15mn à pieds du centre, jolie petite ville, le bus passe juste devant.

Very good local restaurant with lots of open space and a little stream on the property. Great kebabs and cheese, draft beer.

Edit: was too quickly to write this recommendation. I was totally overcharged. 20€ for a beer, some meat and salad. Acceptable would be 10€.

This was a last resort after a very long drive. Avoid if possible.
No sink to wash hands, no shower just bucket of water in corner, no water for toilet, no electricity as generator is broken.
Go to well for water to wash hands or bring back to flush toilet.
I would have continued driving if I was so tired.

Great that this is open when most other places are closed. No water to rinse, but potable water to drink. Really nice.

Amazing spot right on a wild beach with nice sunset.

The land is not private, you can park in the entrance of the beach. You can't swimm due to strong currents but you can still get refreshed in the ocean.

23 full hook-up sites, and 3 cabins. Cell phone reception, WIFI, and local diner within walking distance. Centrally located in the tri-peak area, we are the perfect spot for fishing, hunting, biking, kayaking/canoeing, and motorcyclists.
