Description
Located along a very corrugated mountain pass and beautiful dirt road is a farm which also has a designated camping area on top of a hill. It has a toilet with flushing water, a bonfire pit and large areas to park your camper, car, motorcycle or pitch tents.
Price per person is R120.
The ever so kind couple that runs it also has a warm shower for you to use the following day.
Knock on their door, and they will give you information on where to camp. They also sell jars of jam/kwepers for R30-70. I did not have cell coverage here.

Tried to phone the cell number, 2 hours apart, no answer. Decided to drive there. After a VERY corrugated mountain pass gravel road of 15km only to discover absolutely no one the farm. Had to drive all the way back to Kamieskroon.
Report Check-InCamp has been destroyed by baboons and the friendly lady is now alone and can't fix it up after her husband died.
She was willing to let me stay but since I didn't feel very welcome I decided to move on..
Could try anyway, however camp has no running water at the moment.

Report Check-InThis was a stunning wild bush camp on a farm. Very quiet and secluded. Nice lapa with benches and braai spot. Spotless clean flush toilet with a spectacular view. We paid 240 rand per night for 2 people. We had showers at the farm house in the morning. The stars at night were absolutely mind blowing!

You approach the farm along a winding dirt road with great views of the dramatic scenery. The couple at the farm are friendly and helpful. There is a shower with hot water and place to charge electrical items but the actual campsite is a further 1km away up a farm track. Isolated and very beautiful with a basic flushing toilet, fire pit and sheltered pitch. No running water or other facilities. Good walks in the area and you will have complete privacy, silence and a night sky with no light pollution.
