Nothing to add here! Just changing the “non potable water” logo to “potable” (: It tastes a bit like salty chemicals, but it’s safe to drink.

We decided to stop by here on our way to La Fortuna and had a fantastic time! It is a butterfly farm and tour. Roberto is the owner who gives a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable tour. He really takes his time and wants everyone to enjoy the experience. It is also very much off the beaten track and a beautiful spot.

We were cycle touring and he was kind enough to let us camp here which we were really grateful for as it spent a lot of time raining!

Nice place to sleep. Shelter from rain and wind. Nobody in the night (saterday feb) we slept amazing. Peacefull and clean. We saw in the morning some glass but not bad or something.

Dump Station is right by the air and water supply.

Próximo ao Rio, uma praça bem bonita, a noite é bem movimentada pelos moradores, tem água, não tem nenhum comércio próximo, dormimos apenas uma noite, mas é um lugar muito agradável.

VERY friendly place- just fabulous. welcoming people, lots of community events such as pancake breaky and a dance!
Hot tubs aren't fancy, but they are fabulous. Salt water pool and hottub are nice too. Great to have laundry and a book exchange too!

Small restaurant serving falafel, humus and fuul. We had 2 big falafel wraps and one fuul salad and we paid 27 rials.Also, the restaurant is very clean and the staff is helpful

This is the Mole Motel, in the National Park. It's beautifully located, with views on the park and the puddles where elephants come to drink en bath. The rooms are expensive compared to other places in Ghana (650 cedi double room) but we think it's worth it... The location is great, right next to the visitor centre where the safari's start. Rooms are spacious and clean, they have AC, fan, shower, fridge. There is a swimming pool and a restaurant. Just make sure you order your food in advance at the restaurant because it takes very long to prepare. But it tastes good.

Spent the day in the Cleveland Nat Forest but didn’t want to sleep there cause of the cold so this place is less in altitude and not as cold, generally pretty quiet but you can definitely hear the traffic from I-8.

Wow. What a stunning spot. Right on the water on a public boat docking platform. I was there on a Saturday night and it occasionally got loud (but this is everywhere in Mexico in Saturday nights). Upon leaving there was a City Police man watching locals fish, and he didn’t care I was parked there. That said, few of the locals park on this platform, they park on the side of the street leading to the platform, and I sense that that’s probably the right thing to do (or arrive late and leave REALLY early, before the morning fishing begins). But what a great little spot!!!

Very nice spot between some palm trees and next to the water. Walking distance to restaurants and bars. No bathrooms but 100 yards away is a Dunkin Donuts for your 'morning routine'.

Pulled in at 6:00 pm. Asked the manager at In-N-Out and he said we could stay the night. Great burgers! The lot is fairly level. Hardly heard anything except one loud car at 1:00 am. It’s a well lit lot. Felt safe.

Simple camping with all you need. Stayed 1 night, 150pppn. We were alone so no privacy issue! Permanent campers are on the premises and they can make a meal for you if you forgot to buy food for supper. Campsites are close to each other but there is warm water, clean toilets and showers and a place to do wash dishes. Decoration in the bathroom is a bit strange...but maybe it is just me!

Super nice place ! when you enter the trail, keep going for 1km and you will see the the Ioverlander sign on a panel.

We are travelers but we like to receive other travelers at home who are going to pass through this region and need a safe place to rest and spend the night before continuing on the road.

Slept outside before turn into falls and had a quiet night. Right path (facing the falls) now charges 80p pp.

This is the bottom of the track. You can see the track on google satellite (not on Maps.me). Need 4x4 or at least high ground clearance. 8 mins drive down from road. Amazing viewpoint of the falls with just a short 50m walk from where you can park. Very special view!!! No one around!

toll road CA13, officially, road to San Pedro Sula

The road is not continuous to CA13 like in Google maps marked. It's too small for cars and no alternative route to the CA13!

Parker here one night with no issue. Two other campers here. Road noise was minimal here. Only real noise came from trucks coming and going from one of the businesses here (around 10pm and 6am). Got here at 9pm and stayed until 9am.

Nice clean Hospedaje with private rooms, some with private bathrooms and some with shared ones. 03/2023 we paid 35k CLP for a room with private bathroom and double bed.
The place is reasonably clean, with kitchen (you can use everything except the hobs), private parking for motorcycles or cars

Awesome hostel! Flat space for 2 vehicles in a really big, social hostel. It’s the mid-point for the hike, so lots of people, tons of hammocks and picnic tables, pool tables, fooseball, ping pong, free tea/coffee all day. Family-style dinner/breakfast for $3. Access to a room for toilets/hot showers (so pretty much private for you). $3pp to stay in your car. Great deal, we loved it here! Only downsides are their big, loud dog barks a lot in the night, very slow wifi, and there is some road noise starting early. Worth it for the atmosphere!

Proper station + little shop in the middle of nowhere how had diesel and petrol when we went there. Also a bank with ATM 400 m before the station coming from west(where we could actually withdraw cash, the first since we entered Angola from north).
Road conditions : good tar from Seles/Uku for about 80 km, then old potholed tar until Cassongue (where the station is). Pretty good piste after Cassongue, even after heavy rain. 4x4 not needed. Beautiful road.

Still $3pp to camp with no meals, or $15pp for a room with big dinner & breakfast. Big, social hostel with lots of common spaces. They have a little tienda with basics and some fruit/veg. Family style dinners and breakfasts for $3. Loud dog at night and traffic noise early, but worth it for the atmosphere!

Good place for the night. Near the City center. The family is very friendly and welcoming. Paid 300 pesos for 1 night.
