Large gated 24hr parking lot. Friendly owners, family lives on site. Rooms with hot showers which we were able to use at no extra charge. Ample space for big rigs (tall & wide). Covered parking available for smaller vehicles. 15 pesos an hour or 300p / night. Very quiet.
Owner is Cirilo Martinez Hernandez (aka “Ciro”), cell +52 951 125 0617, is on WhatsApp

Maintenant 360 pesos pour 24h. C'est en fait 15 pesos de l'heure. Propriétaire super gentil, très bien situé! Toilettes très sales, sans eau. On a pas testé la douche.
Now 360 pesos for 24h. It's actually 15 pesos an hour. Super nice owner, great location! Very dirty toilets, without water. We did not test the shower.
Good place to park for the night, safe, 300 pesos not the cutest but convenient , near the center.
Report Check-InGood place for the night. Near the City center. The family is very friendly and welcoming. Paid 300 pesos for 1 night.
Report Check-Instay here 1 night. 300 pesos / VR.
friendly and safe.
wifi very good
150 p for car wash very good pressure
Great location for exploring Oaxaca City. Safe, family atmosphere. The multi-generation family that owns the site is very welcoming. 15p/hour. Very good place to sleep safely and go visit.
Report Check-InCiro and Jesus were very friendly. We showed up late around 10pm, and they opened the door right away for us to let us in. Jesus held up road traffic for me so wiggle my giant van in so no issues getting through the gate. I would recommend starting from the very far right of the road before pulling in to give you a better turning angle.
Our night was very quiet and we slept great. There are some chickens running around so prepare for a wake up call.
Report Check-InIt now costs 15 pesos per hour. The owner and the staff is super nice. I struggled to get in with my 24 feet motorhome but managed with lots of help. If you come super early in the morning or late evening it’s less full with other cars.
Report Check-InThis place is in wrong location - it is located at 17.05983, -96.72994
Report Check-InA very good place to visit the city. You can get to the centre quickly on foot. It was very quiet except for that rooster that reliably came for an hour in the morning. We felt very comfortable.
Report Check-InStayed here for three nights. Great, secure place to sleep in the van while visiting Oaxaca city. Location is brilliant, very central! Ciro and his family are wonderfully welcoming, warm and friendly. There’s a cold shower you can use. Really quiet at night, but suggest ear plugs for the cockerel in the morning! 😂 Defo recommend 👍
Report Check-InAs mentionned before, great location to visit the centro and very convenient. No height limit, wifi, toilets, they even found a place for us to plug in with our extension. Overall great stay. The owner is now asking 250$ a night and 15 pesos per hour. Please consider a tip for Ciro and the other employees if ever you feel like it. They work every day of the week, all year no long, no vacation.
Report Check-InAs stated by others. Wish I knew of this place the first time I came to Oaxaca City. The friendly owner asked that I add his full name and number to the top of the listing (still goes by “Ciro”). Even offered a glass of local mezcal when I arrived. Gem of a spot this close to the centro, perfect for a campervan or truck camper; not sure if I’d describe it as ‘big-rig friendly’ though, with the gate constraint, turn-in from the street, and other height restrictions once within the lot.
Report Check-InThe absolute BEST spot to camp in Oaxaca City!! This is a secure parking area located within walking distance of most anything you could want to see in the Centro— road conditions & traffic are terrible, so save yourself the trouble & just walk from here! Close to food & services, QUIET, very safe.
Gates are locked at night, but the owners will let you in at any time with a knock. 200p per night. We were so happy with this spot that we stayed 3 days— let the owners know your plans & they will make sure you aren’t blocked in or move cars to give you the best spot for your particular vehicle.
Ciro, Julio & the family are so incredibly welcoming. They conversed with us in English, greeted us in the evening with mezcal & even gave us big hugs when we left. A highlight of our time in Oaxaca, in so many ways!

Report Check-Inabove all else, this is a working public parking lot, not a campground. please don't take up valuable parking space by setting up chairs and tables. if you don't get here before 9am or after 7pm, you are going to struggle with finding a space. and once you are in there, the cars can be double and triple parked so leaving can be an issue. it's a dusty dirt lot with people coming and going all of the time. there is some shade available depending on the height of your rig The public bathroom is bucket flush and leaves something to be desired regarding cleanliness. perhaps all of the rooms were taken as we were not able to use a shower or nicer toilet. with all of that said, we came for 2 nights and ended up staying for 4. you are literally minutes from the Centro and all of the delicious markets and stalls. the family that lives here is super nice and like to practice speaking English with you and encourage you to speak Spanish. after 9pm or so it's very quiet here all night until 7 when people start parking for the day. no rooster, or dogs here, but one pet chicken. dog friendly, but again, cars constantly coming and going so mind your pets.10 pesos an hour or 200 pesos for 24 hours is the cheapest parking in town if you aren't street parking so I'm not sure why some reviews said it's expensive, not to mention you get to sleep here included in that price. we will definitely be staying here again on our way back north.
Report Check-Instayed for two nights. quiet at night, no rooster around. Shared toilets with the family and others, toilet weren't too clean. there are also people living in the small rooms they rent. Super close to the city centre and everybody was very friendly.

Report Check-InExcellent location to visit the city center. Quiet night, we had no roosters or dogs around, owners very welcoming & happy to get ioverlander traffic.
Careful with "big rig" notion and "lots of space", the only way we managed to get in with our 25ft was in reverse. But again this is a secure parking lot right in the center.
Place is pretty much as described by the other comments. It’s not cheap but then again you are getting a secured spot in the middle of the city and Ciro and his family seem really nice and helpful. 10 pesos per hour and 30 pesos for a hot shower.
Report Check-InNice parking just for a few hours. But it’s very expansive if you sleep here. Because they’re not doing a specialty price just for night. So it’s not a good deal. Dirty toilet
Report Check-InPverall we had a great experience. Ciro knows that being on iOverlander helps his business so he accommodates. It's still a parking lot first, but it's downtown and safe. Ask for the hot water to be turned on for the showers. Remember to bring toilet paper. He unlocks the door whatever time you come back in the pm.
UPDATE: Ciro asked to clarify that the ONLY phone number in use is his own. +52 951 125 0617
Report Check-InStayed from Friday afternoon to Monday morning. Its advertised as 10 pesos/hour but I was able to get the price to 500 pesos for 65 hours. We used the bathrooms, which were clean, but very basic and did not have a sink to wash hands. You'll have to put water in the toilet to help it flush. We parked next to a tree so we had shade most of the time. Lots of other city tour vans parked there. Very close to all the things you'll want to do in Oaxaca City.
Report Check-InVery good and useful parking lot; just 5 minuts to zocalo. Very quite on night and absolutely safe. Ciro, the owner, is so nice and helpful for everything you need. Best park to visit Oaxaca
Report Check-InGreat parking spot to explore Oaxaca, Ciro is lovely! Location is perfect!
Report Check-Insecure place in the town. it's a parking lot in the center of the city, near the 3 market and the central place.
10 pesos by hour. Owner nice but too business people: no price for the 2 night we stay (there is nobody else) and he want to charge us for the cold shower.
so 240 pesos per day, it's a little bit expansive for us.
Report Check-InNot the prettiest place but very convenient and secure. Reasonably peaceful given the location. Excellent WiFi. Super-friendly owner, Ciro, will do anything to keep overlanders happy there! If you need anything (eg watertank fill or plugin) just ask him, not the younger guys who don't care. But don't buy any mezcal from Ciro, it's not what he claims!!
Report Check-InGreat place to park either for the day or overnight. Ciro, the owner, is super friendly. Secure lot and great location for seeing Oaxaca City - everything is walkable. We stayed in our camper overnight and it was surprisingly quiet with the exception of the rooster at 6am. They have bathrooms and a shower but we did not use either so can’t comment on their condition. $10 pesos/hr - probably one of the cheapest secure lots you’ll find in the city.
Report Check-InParking lot very close to the Zocalo and all the important places in Oaxaca. 10 peso for an hour, very safe place because the family lives here to. Owner is very helpful, if you want he brings you with his car somewhere in Oaxaca. The wifi works very good. Some people think it's a camping but it's just a parking lot where you can sleep, so it's stupid to complain about cold or hot shower and the wifi. Wifi, toilet etc... is something extra on a parking lot.
Report Check-Indon't forget to negociate. we paid 300 pesos for 43 hours on dia de los muertos. warm showers included.
Report Check-InExcellent location for visiting el Centro . We felt our camper was secure both day and night . flush toilet and showers available. Both Ciro 9511250617 and Gómez 9511219090 were most welcoming and helpful 10 pesos an hour we stayed for 50 hours and felt it was good value The big solid gate is closed at 2100 either Ciro or Gómez will always be inside to open up. Just call on the above numbers . I rate it at 4.5 due to friendly owners and excellent location but remember it is a parking lot . They will ; with Mexican willingness fit in just about any size rig .
Ciro will also offer long term storage but we did not discuss rates .
It’s not exactly a nice place but it’s conveniently located, WIFI is pretty fast (when it works), the showers are scalding hot (when you are lucky and the boiler is full), and Ciro, the owner, is as friendly as a businessman can be. To give it a rural feel it’s pretty dusty (muddy when wet), chicken are running all over the place and the area around our car was covered with chicken shit. We had two quiet nights there and there was no rooster waking us up early in the morning.
There are plenty of other estacionamientos públicos in the immediate surroundings, some of them looking cleaner from outside; might be worth to check them out.
well... 10 pesos/hour. ok.
it's a good place if you like cold shower with cockroach for 30 pesos.
wifi is very bad.
people are not really friendly.
Mezcal is 300 pesos for a liter.
Report Check-InWe reached to a wrong parking, paid 15 pesos there and we reached to this correct one. Had a hard time getting in with our 25’’ RV but made it. Ciro came to help us and he seem to be extremely friendly. May be my husband will be offered Mezcal already at 10:30😂
10pesos per hour. 30pesos to dump the XYZ.
It was Saturday evening so we could hear loud music going on which was ok to sleep but the damn rooster was terribly LOUD non stop since 5:45 or so. Well! On the whole a good place to park if we want to visit the town walking.
Report Check-InC'est le lieu parfait pour se poser et visiter Oaxaca. Ciro, le boss, est adorable et son Mezcal un régal ! Deux nuits parfaites.
Report Check-InAs described, very handy place from where to discover the city on foot. We had a good time here with Ciro. He also sells a very good Mezcal.
Report Check-InNice parking lot. The entrance was a bit tight for our 22f motorhome but we fit inside ok. The owner Ciro is a friendly guy and he sells a good mezcal. We felt super safe and close to everything worth seen in Oaxaca old center.
Report Check-Invery nice parking lot with a nice owner and family. all the descriptions from past travelers are up to date.
Report Check-InThis spot is perfect to visit the historical center of Oaxaca, and Ciro is THE man of every situation. He got my rig cleaned on the spot (150pesos for my 25" truck), linked me with a specialist so I get cheap new glasses, and sold me an awesome Mezcal for the best price ever. It goes without mentioning Ciro is the nicest man on earth and made everything possible so our stay was fine. No rigs longer then 25" as the turn into the park is narrow.
Report Check-InDecent price, quiet and meeting place for overlander. Not really nice but ok. Hot water now costs 20-30 pesos extra.
Report Check-InThis place is in wrong location - it is located at 17.05978, -96.72989
Report Check-InNice, quite at night, very nice owner. Let us use warm showers. 10 pesos per hour. Please note, the current location in the map is a bit forward than the place really is. Look for the entrance as it is in the photos. The address is Mier Teran 405.
Report Check-InGood place, very friendly host (cirro), 10pesos per hour, central, sometimes lot of people in here, good shower, not so nice toilets.
Famous place on iOverlander. There would probably be some better or nicer places (secure parking), if you have time to look for one.
very nice people at this parking lot which is suitable for almost all overlanding rigs.
no day prices so still 10p per hour.
met some other overlanders there too.
Great location and very nice people running the place. Walkable to everything and 24hr service (will open the gate late at night for you). Hot shower, bathrooms...couldn't ask for much more.
Report Check-InSr Ciro is a very nice host. He gave us a lift to Monte Alban for 100p each way (we are 4). They washed our RV pour 100p. Very quiet at night.
Report Check-Insame as described, great for exploring oaxaca city center. the family is very nice and welcoming to overnight parkers.
the wifi was really fast while we were there, able to upload pictures to a blog pretty quickly.
if you want to be right in the center of oaxaca, this is a great spot!
