You can take teleferico up and down and have access to the complex up here for $5000ars pp or drive up in not very good ripio road, then park and take a little tram up for $3000ars pp.. definitely the better deal is the teleferico from downtown. See drove up so didn’t do the teleferico but it looks spectacular.
In the complex is a museum, a turning restaurant with stunning views, a small zip line and hanging bridges and panoramic terraces.

Dormimos uma noite no estacionamento e foi super tranquilo. Falamos com o pessoal do restaurante que foram muito solícitos, ofereceram energia, Wi-Fi e banho.

a paradise on earth! the rooms are spacious. we had a room for 4 people(could enter five). the kids slept in one room, the adults had an other room wich could be closed with a door. nice showers and bath in the private bathroom. it has a bodega, a restaurant and the breakfast is very good with fresh fruit, yoghurt, croisants, bread, granola, orange juice and coffee or thee.

the best of al is the setting. a beautiful big garden with lots of trees and places to sit. the very big swimmingpool was nice to be in. clean and the water was not to cold. we were sorry we had to leave.

a room for 2 adults and 2 children, with breakfast was 40000 pesos. A lot,but you get a peace of paradise in return.

Dead end sand road between 2 private homes that ends at a sandy beach. We camped here with 2 other rigs, no one bothered us

Established camp ground with camp sites, lodges and safari tents. Space for big rigs but the approach road is a bit tight. Sites have electric ( UK & SA sockets) covered seating area. Drinking water at taps, ablutions- hot water and clean, a bit dated. Restaurant and swimming pool on site- we paid 20 USD per night - 2 people. Baboons are the usual nuisance ( will take any food left unattended) hippo in the river and elephants stroll around

Sun Water

Purified water fill up. Fill up jugs (1, 3 and 5 gal) and fill up RV fresh water. $0.25/gal. Pull out hose for RV as you have to pull through the middle since the clearance is just over 8ft.

Young couple bought and are fixing up an old campground. Doing a great job. Pool, Hot tub, Clubhouse and game room. Cabins, Tent sites, RV sites all available. Right on the San Antonio River. Very friendly hosts. Great find. Costs vary by site type. Our general RV/Trailer site was $42 per night. Just a few miles from Downtown San Antonio.

I would stay here again if in the area.
Each RV site has electric, water and sewer. No actual dump station.

Nothing for high BigRigs (approx. 3m and higher). At the entrance, a low-hanging cable blocks the driveway and half-height trees in the driveway.

Nothing for high BigRigs. The entrance gate is a maximum of 3m high and at the driveway there is a camel thorn in the curve with low-hanging branches, which you can hardly avoid.

Just before the reception two thorny bushes scratching higher vehicles. A separate gate at the beginning of the driveway will be opened for BigRigs (truck campers). From there good access for larger and higher vehicles without any problems. There are now VIP-sites with their own toilet and shower. Clean facility, friendly and helpful staff. The VIP-sites are ZAR 190 pppn.

Lots of space in the front lot because everyone else parks under the store. You can't get into the lot if you're traveling west so I had to pass it and turn around to get in. There is no passthrough to the front from behind the store either. The neighborhood roads are wide enough for a big rig unless someone parks stupidly and of course the streets are in poor condition. I wouldn't call this town "eerie" but it has an off-season, industrial feel.
I parked close to Starbucks for the wifi and didn't talk to Walmart about security. I have two scary dogs with me that help with security. There was a nice breeze around sunset. The lot definitely needs a facelift and the litter cleaned up but it's fine for a single night. Walmart closes at 11pm.

On our way to Big Bend. We parked our truck camper beside the amphitheater and it was lovely and a very large parking area. No one bothered us, we were the only ones here. It’s very quiet here. No posted sign for no overnight parking or park hours although there is a gate at the driveway.

the sheriff's patrol this lot now every single night between 11pm and 2am. The gym is open 24 hrs but this is no longer a viable place for an overnight. the parking lots around it are expanding for an urgent care clinic and a restaurant...I suspect the boondocking is simply no longer going to be welcome. too many people behaved very poorly and abused this option
