FREE but MAX STAY 24h allowed. ONLY for campers/vans - sign specifically says NO caravans, buses, trailers, or lorries! Next to two sets of very pretty public gardens - Kearnsey Abbey and Russel Gardens. Basic public toilets open during the day (8am - 6pm). Tarmac standing and flat. Coop is open late and about 0.5 miles away. Next to a road that isn't particularly busy but there did seem to be consistent passing traffic through the night.

Cafe and toilets closed at 5pm . Height barrier was not in place , but there was a phone number on a plaque if you find yourself blocked in .
Stayed here night of 14/15 September, part of the car park was cordoned off and some sort of work is ongoing but I spent a quiet night other than the occasional traffic. Very handy location for the ferries.
