The rest area is closed to RVs because there was an influx of people living in RVs using the rest area as a permanent camp site and trashing the place. The greater Seattle area has a persistent homelessness problem and I suspect this will cause this location to be closed for a long while.

Nice clearing accessible by 2wd (in March, bone dry underfoot) by taking a 'lil turn off from ridge road. Far enough off the road to not be seen, enough room for a few cars/4x4 + tents, and a little slice of bush to yourself! Decent Telstra coverage.

The rest area is open but closed to RV parking due to people living in RVs making this their permanent camping spot and trashing the place. Unless the homeless problem in the greater Seattle area gets better, this is unlikely to reopen for RV parking.

Sand road off of DW Ranch Road. Don’t drive up road 7127 too far or you’ll get stuck like I did. Fortunately I have a winch! DW Ranch road was passable in my 2wd Promaster. 2 bars ATT without weboost. Faint highway noise but hidden from highway and peaceful. Welfare cows wandering around. A couple of ORV’s and a truck passes by on DW Ranch road.

there is a spigot on the right side of the DG, if u need a jug or two of water but not a place to fill your tank

Awesome BLM camping, but lots of wind (it's right by a wind farm). Clean, felt safe.

Lots of the dirt roads aren't on google maps.

Fills up tanks and RVs. Price under 20 gal was at 3.59 on this day which is way cheaper than the other places in Santa Cruz and San Jose. Awesome service!

A really neat place where the owner does woodwork art. Custom pieces too. I feel this may be of interest to travellers so I am adding ! It’s on google maps so just type it in to see more

Parking is $1 per hour on weekends and holidays. Good location, lots of space, clean baños. We didn't spent the night as it would've gotten quite expensive at this rate!

Stopped at a local fruit stand down the road and bought / tipped tons. They then seemed really concerned about us going down the road to turn left onto the 120. With very broken Spanish, and three very concerned people trying to speak to me very unsuccessfully through google translate, what I got out of their message was either a lot of cartel around here, especially at this intersection, or corrupt policia waiting to hand out an infraction to us because of our trailer possibly? They nodded at all three words “corrupt policia”, “cartel” and “infraction”…. They even went to the length of insisting they escort us on a side street to avoid that intersection. 👀 We followed them cautiously. Added the marker to the intersection and a picture. The side street wasn’t super nice with our trailer, but it was doable very slowly.

Awesome gas station, we always stop here. The restrooms are around the back and are clean but probably don’t have TP. The store is a great grocery store and could be a good place to stock up on drinks and essentials.

“Miscelanea Médina” This place overcharged us on all our items. Us gringos already get up priced on so many things, don’t let them get you here. Shop somewhere else of the every other door store here if you can! Uploaded a pic of the place. Can’t use warning sign since it doesn’t fall within the parameters of iOverlander description.

What a fantastic place to hang for a few days. This is one of the best camp grounds I've stayed at. The main reasons are Moises and Lucy. Moises is 'The puta madre'. What he doesn't know about what to see and how to see it in this area probably isn't worth knowing and Lucy is the Gordon Ramsey of Mexico. They made me so welcome, shared their food and knowledge and made me feel part of their lovely family. Thanks again Moises, Lucy and all at Camping Espacio y Tiempo.

BLM land south of Wickenburg near Vulture City. A non-descript pull off leads to a nice flat place to park. Two fire rings but otherwise, minimal signs of past campers. Track in is narrow in spots just big enough for a class B. 2 bars on Verizon. Sparse road noise with some OHV traffic nearby.

National park, not far from Medinah. The park is open all night and is only heavily used on Thursday Friday weekends. We stood here on a Saturday and it was not busy and very quiet. You can't hear the street with a Bolt Taxi it costs about 50 SAR to Medina city center!

there are many trees and even more barbecue huts with garbage cans and toilets!

Nice colonial style lodge with huge garden and secure parking behind gates. Value for money accomodation with both private & shared bathrooms, hot showers, AC, mosquito nets, clean, wifi, breakfast included and nice staff. Kitchen available to be used by guests. An overlander couple was parked here using only facilities and sleeping in their own rooftent. We booked it through booking.com but cheaper if you come here directly. Owner Laurent is a helpful man.

Passamos 2 noites na cabana um, lugar tranquilo, proprietário disponibilizou água, energia, ducha, banheiro, não cobrou nada, mas é bom consumir uma coisinha no local né, a praia é boa, o rio fica bem perto, ambiente muito agradável.

hermoso hostal, el personal es muy amable, la intalacion es muy buena, el internet es lento, muy buenos espacios para trabajar aunque en todos no trabaja el internet, constantemente hay fiestas, recomiendo solicitar un cuarto con poco ruido si quieres dormi. en general linda experiencia!

beautiful hostel, the staff is very friendly, the installation is very good, the internet is slow, very good spaces to work although the internet does not work in all of them, there are constantly parties, I recommend requesting a room with little noise if you want to sleep. overall nice experience!

I paid $18 USD/ Night shared room… chile is to expensive. The price is better in Booking

super nice place by friendly people. camping would be 7'000clp pp. we rented a double room in the house next by for 30'000clp with shared bathroom (the house has 4 rooms: 1 single and 3 double rooms). There is a kitchen to use inside the house and a table to eat in front of a oven. super clean and highly recommended if you want to hang out for some days. Great supermarket across the street with fresh food etc.

We have the same experiences as the last reviews. We did a coffeetour for 20usd pp. A part of this money goes to the community.

Went here but found a nice and hidden spot more to the right wi the my bicycle.

Truly beautiful campspot indeed. The views of the canyon are amazing. You cannot be seen from the small road nearby (which is btw really quiet, only one motor and one tractor came by in two days). We loved it, thanks for adding this amazing place.
