Good place to stay in Bariloche, great views of the lake, which can also be used as a water source. Can get windy. By far the busiest with other Overlanders we've seen in all of Patagonia!

Beautiful spot directly by the river (dry season), of course rocky but no problem. We used it for a very quiet night only hearing some frog croaking, on our way to Lago de Yojoa. If you come from Gracias, right after passing the bridge turn right, go down the gravel road for a few meters, turn right again, passing under the bridge and you reach the river-bank where you can choose the best spot. A few young locals around, but nobody bothered us. Felt very safe. Good Claro signal, nothing else.

We have changed the rear breaks of our Iveco Daily. We could stay into our camper, with our dogs, all the time for the works.
They did the reconstruction of the breaks, because here Iveco doesn't exist. And did it very fast, in two hours and a half, all ok, and the price, 75 €.
Very friendly workers.

We miss the dulce de leche 🇦🇷 so we bought the "rollos de manjar", so yummy! it's like a little sweet bread with manjar (jam) inside, same flavor than dulce de leche! 20cent each. The little bread of cheese is also tasty.
Auto service bakery, good prices.

We went to "cafeteria paolita" and tried the tortillas (they make them in front of you) 60 cent each!! Delicious, we recommend the yuca and the choclo ones. They also have coffee, chocolate, juices, (60cent each) There's tables inside and outside, or benches on the little square.

This place totally surprised us. It’s an absolutely gorgeous park with well maintained trails, adventure tourism activities and beautiful, quiet camping. The customer service was top notch, the bathrooms were spotless, and the showers perfectly hot. Such a great place to spend the night after arriving in Mazatlán on the ferry. There are two large dry camping areas for vehicle camping that the guides can direct you to or a few tent camping spots near the main reception and bathroom buildings. Everything is gated and felt extremely safe. It’s run by a very professional tourism group that is teaching the local ejido to manage it and will apparently turn it over to the ejido in the future. A real hidden gem with lots of land to explore. There is a misplaced purificada pin posted over this on iOverlander which we think has made it harder for people to find on here which is too bad cause it’s one of the best campsites we found in all of Mexico. We wish we’d stayed longer!

This is not pinned in the correct location. But there is a great campsite at these coordinates that this pin is blocking on the map!

An amazing spot, such a beautiful place with scenic views over the Valley of the Gods. Many camping spots/pull outs along a gravel road. Easy with 2WD. Couple of other vans. Really recommended!

Great place to come with your camper or motorhome. The place is spacious and there is no height problem for your camper. They also have tents for rent or you can put your tent. They have bathrooms and hot shower. They have Internet 30mb speed, electricity and water. The place is quiet and facing the sea. They make you feel at home and charge 100 mxn per vehicle.

El camping está ubicado a un lado del hotel villas del mar.

Small shop refilling gas bottle. But they do not weight the bottle before so you pay a full refill even if it was half empty. The lady was very aggressive and rude. Better go somewhere else.

Lovely swimming pool with hot tub, sauna, steam room, and “breathing room” which is a cool room with eucalyptus vapour. Clean, private, shower and change rooms. $8 for non-member day use of the full facility which includes the pool+, a gym, and basketball courts.
Non-member pool use is only during public swim hours so check their website before going!

Asked inside - we were told they prefer overnight campers to park in the lots on the sides of the stores and not in front. We parked on the side with the customer pickup area as it seemed more secluded. Quiet night.

this maybe the best spot in the area, but it is not good at all. Another "social media" photo instead of reality. in reality this spot is a dirt parking lot in the middle of the small town where you are surrounded by vehicles and gravel. So not in nature and no nice view whatsoever. Also as nobody before could be bothered to mention, there's an entrance fee of $2pp. Reasonable cellphone reception with claro and cnt

The app wouldn't let me add photos so I'll try again. And a bit more info: You can walk around the lake on the mountain ridge for free and bring a pet. For another dollar you can walk all the way down to the lake but pets aren't allowed. The lake is nice but nothing special. The whole as area has a tourist trap feel, although people are very nice. Before we came here we visited the crater lake Cuicocha NP. This lake is just as nice, much nicer hike entrance is free and not a tourist trap.
There is some trash and animal poop around the camp area. Getting the van level was easy. You can't drive any further than the parking lot as the road is blocked

I went there in the winter, in March. I was alone and enjoyed a magnificent sunset. the parking in the winter shows no indication for overnight. Not sure that in the summer you can stay here due to the marina.

We did the tour on isla pingüinos : just amazing ! We saw a lot of birds and marine mammals, from very close.
The tour starts at 8:00 and you come back at 13:30. We spent 3:30 on the island, and you have many time to observe and Takeshi pictures.
The guide Roxana is very welcoming. She knows a lot about animals so you can ask many questions, in many diffrent languages : spanish, english, french, italian and even some portuguese.
We think it will be one of our greatest moments in our Argentinian trip.
