At the end of an easy sand path, we found this nice coconut field. We asked the first shop they were so nice and told us it’s safe, and they stay here for the night too.
100m after there is à local chill restaurant, food is good and they told us we can Park just neer the restaurant… (we stayed at the first place)
Here you can chose to swim in the sea or in a river just near (no so clear but ok)
They may have lot of people here during week end and holidays.

The public parking lot is well attended during the day and brightly lit at night. Pay attention to the palm trees, large leaves or nuts keep falling down. You can hear the sea, but you can't see it from the square. The beach is shadowless. The space free of charge, no toilets or showers. Mosquitoes and biting ants. Many sprinkle dogs. 17 km from the main road, path becomes narrower, low-hanging cables and branches (we touched a lot at 3.60 m high). We wouldn't drive again.
Report Check-InStayed 1 night. Nice quiet spot. 30min detour from the main road. From 4pm to 9pm the one of the shops offers pupusas, very tasty!
Report Check-InStayed here two nights. Free, quiet. Got delicious shrimp from one of the shops nearby. Cell signal is weak and the current is strong, not great for surfing or swimming while we were around.
Report Check-Init's a really nice place under palm trees. we arrived on sunday and during the day it got pretty crowded. many nice locals. The nights are very quiet. Swimming is dangerous because of the high waves, but it is possible. Cheap and good small restaurants suburb. Our overnight stays were free. Vegetables and fruit come 2x a day with a pickup.
