Parked just around the corner closer to the police station. Really quiet spot for Playa and felt safe.

Arrived 11/04/22. Stayed here for 1 night. Campground is located in Lake Pleasant Rec Area. Reservation can be made online. Check in is 1pm and check out is 12pm.
We paid a total of $37 this includes:
$7 entrance fee, $22 for a developed site (132), and a online Service fee of $8.
We stayed at site 132 and it was perfectly level for our Ford E250. Access to Lake Pleasant was not available from our site. But the campground is just a quick drive to Boat Launch area.
Entrance to Campground is secured by gate w/ code. Paved road in and Gravel lot for tents if needed, covered picnic table and fire pit. There is no electricity hookup at this site. Restrooms were fairly close, just a quick walk from site. Pretty spendy for 1 night but it was well worth it. 8 out of 10 would definitely visit again in the summer time.

Beautiful location on the beach and big sites but very unfriendly reception of a grumpy man who didn’t even say hello and sent us away because the campsite was fully booked during the weekend.

This is an interesting rock formation in the middle of nowhere if you happen to drive this way (free as nature should be).

Interesting "volcano" (it's actually an inactive geysir / hotspring or something like this). There are also some medium hot / lukewarm hotsprings around it were you can bath in.

Still very much of the beaten path, mostly local tourists. It's 5 soles entry per person.

Note: It's 4 hours of gravel road (AY-670) coming from Nazca / Highway 30A, with an average speed of 25-30 km/h. Doable with any car that can take a beating (at least in dry season), but some clearance helps. Regular cars drove here, too. 3 shallow river crossings (max depth 20cm).

No cell service anywhere, but also almost no people (few villages in between). You can probably camp anywhere along the road.

2$ for a hot shower in a private stall. Lockers are 25 or 50 cents depending on size but wasn't necessary for me since there are enough hooks next to the shower.

Gym access is around $7, not sure how they are though.

We really enjoyed the tour here. 270 per person and was around 2.5 hours. The views are beautiful and we saw lots of wildlife.

This is a great spot to go if you are in a big rig as the parking lot here is big and the entrance is just off of the highway.

Beautiful spot, would have been perfect, but shortly after we arrived a nice policeman came by and informed us that this is private property. Apparently they let people stay throughout the day for lunch and else…. But overnight is prohibited, we went on to find another one. Please respect the wishes of locals!

Ótimo local para pegar agua. Bem no centro do estacionamento tem uma torneira com uma mangueira calibrosa de plástico. Enchemos nossa caixa rapidamente.

The view alone makes this spot 5 stars. The bridge and city lights are so pretty at night.

The store asks that you park as far away from the doors as you can.

Stayed here one night and very quiet as stated. I will note that it is not flat unless you park two feet off of the curb.

The garbage smell is strong, it’s snowing out and you can still smell it strongly. Maybe when it’s further below freezing it wouldn’t be so strong.
