Kimba | After having read the positive reviews of Ihaha campsite, we made a telephonic booking for 2 nights in the camp. Our total fees came to BWP1580 to spend 2 nights in the camp. We were therefore VERY disappointed to see cattle grazing happily with zebras and impala next to the Chobe river and herdsman paddling on the river. When we complained about the fact that we could not even take pictures of the game without having cattle in the pictures, we were informed that it was on the other side of the river and therefore in Namibia. The point is the main attraction of Ihaha campsite is the view over the river and the game coming to drink water in the river. The camp is unfenced and “wild”, yet one sees cattle and herdsmen all day long. It certainly does not feel as if one camps in Chobe NP. At the price one has to pay to enjoy a bush experience, but see Nguni cattle all day, I would certainly not recommend this camp.

cloverman525 | Stayed two nights since there's nothing by Four Corners, and it's perfect for getting to Mesa Verde. Two bars of 4G Verizon, outside the van. Roads are all dirt with some bumpy spots. After site 9 its a slight uphill. Would not recommend any low clearance vehicles, nor visiting after any heavy rain. 8 has a man-made toilet hole, 9 has bike trails behind it, 13 is big enough to fit longer vehicles. All sites are also sometimes patrolled by police in the morning/afternoon. First night we arrived at 6pm with only spots 3,5,7,8, &12 open. Snagged site 8 after our drive through the rest of the
Second night we returned earlier to find a lot more open, and snagged a more level spot suitable for a van at campsite 9. This campsite also had biking trails behind it. The couple days was more then peaceful, with good views, a relaxed area, and great weather. |

jordan.leick | Posted coordinates seemed like the best spot. Larger and flatter than other pullout spots that I saw. I think it’s very close to a cell tower, so I had fast Verizon service. Quiet and dark. Careful on the narrow roads — I narrowly avoided an accident on the way out to the main road in the morning. |

pampas.overland | Excellent access, packed and maintained dirt road. Careful with animals, we saw a coyote and a fox right by the road. We also saw roadkill. Drive slow, high beams at night. Free campground, good pit toilets, good pads for tents and fairly leveled ground for rigs, though I had to mount my Jeep on rocks to be fully leveled. No one at this time of year, seems to be. Absolutely no reception, not even text or calls. If you have an emergency, some reception on the road a couple minutes heading East. Honestly super pretty, lots of trees, which is not abundant in this area. |

bm.aroundtheworld | Really nice camping, 120pesos per person per night if you camp with our the palapas, if you want one 140 pesos per person per night. All spot are directly on the beach. Restroom and showers very clean. Staff very friendly. Wifi is really good and fast at the café, and they serve very good food! We stayed 2 days! We recommend it! |

kmc10189 | Perfect little spot to sleep for the night! There really isn’t much else in the area. It’s far enough from the highway that you can just faintly hear cars. There was one other vehicle parked here when we arrived. We drove over the “new” bridge and parked on the other side. Ground was mostly level and we were tucked just enough away. I did hear some cara driving by during the night but it wasn’t too bad. I have ATT and had about 2 bars of LTE that kinda faded in and out. My husband had TMobile and was able to stream Thursday night football haha (first photo is the view from where we parked) |

TRAVELcandies-On-Tour | We couldn't find any other appropriate place in the near, which is hidden enough for taking an outside shower, but this place has been calm, easy to access and fairly hidden by trees and bushes.

callumjsankey | Visited on a whim but loved it so much I stayed until I ran out of supplies (3 days). Incredible overlook of canyons, mesa, snow capped rockies and the foothills themselves. The stars at night are also unparalleled. It's a nature conservation so please remember to pack out all trash, don't burn plastic, don't harvest live plants for firewood, and bury your poop properly. 6-8 inches. |

yellocoyotephoto.com | Once you pass the area near the main road where all the other campers park, this is a great spot. Open, quiet, scenic. there is a lot of space for other vehicles and tents, however, I don't think they like to come this far. The road is decent, even for larger 2wd vehicles. Can't say for sure past this area. |

gritschontour.com | We stayed more tha a week here at Fatima's Nest and enjoyed very much. Friendly and helpful staff organised freh coconuts, fishermen brought fresh fish, calamari, mussels and crayfish. Basic veggies at the market inside the village, much better choice at Yum Yum supermarket on the road from Inhambane and marked at iOverlander. |

carlosg2288 | Pulled into the dirt road about 12am for a night stay. Easy to find a level spot, 2wd is fine but higher clearance vehicle recommended or drive very carful as the road is not even. Relatively quiet with the exception of come "clanking" from the oil rigs. Definitely recommend if you prefer a more secluded area than a Walmart parking lot. Left around 9am and never saw anyone. |

awaywedrove.com | Parking allowed for 24 hours. Spots seem big rig friendly but there's only a few spots available. Plenty of room during the week in early November. Dump station ($10) and potable water onsite. Generally quiet with good cellphone service (AT&T, Visible and Mint). |

nessav98 | It looks like this site has washed out recently, there's only a very thin parking section between the road and a drop-off to the sand. The road was busy all night, but we had a good undisturbed sleep regardless. The beach is narrow but beautiful, white sand and clear blue water. Good swimming and snorkeling. |

instagram.com/migratory_animals | Stayed one night with about 20 other rigs. Easy access from the highway and close to town. Suitable for all vehicles as it is essentially a gravel lot. Not much privacy, but good for a few nights. 14 day camping limit. No amenities, so pack out all your trash! 1-2 bars of service on ATT. |
