Wonderful campground in the forest. Wind protected, Shady, clean and quiet - we loved it. All places have table and benches and a fire pit Platforms for tents too. Two very clean pit toilet with toilet paper; bear proof trash bins. Recommended! Free!

Great little campground in beautiful forest setting. Clean pit toilets. Saw small herd of deer and a couple cows. Quiet & cozy & free! Some nice forest walks. Spent a few days hanging out.
Report Check-InNice place ! We enjoyed our time here even if it was snowing …
AT&T is working with a Booster otherwise forget about it
Report Check-InStayed here because I was tired of driving in 25 mph winds and based on the descriptions this campsite was protected from the wind. It was not only protected from the wind but was one of the cleanest campsites I have been to in a while. Thank you to whoever maintains this spot.
Report Check-InExcellent access, packed and maintained dirt road. Careful with animals, we saw a coyote and a fox right by the road. We also saw roadkill. Drive slow, high beams at night.
Free campground, good pit toilets, good pads for tents and fairly leveled ground for rigs, though I had to mount my Jeep on rocks to be fully leveled.
No one at this time of year, seems to be. Absolutely no reception, not even text or calls. If you have an emergency, some reception on the road a couple minutes heading East.
Honestly super pretty, lots of trees, which is not abundant in this area.
Report Check-InFree Camping in BLM land. Quiet and peaceful away from the highway traffic noise. An occasional vehicle driving by can be heard on the gravel road, but I can’t see the vehicle.
Report Check-InCampground back open, and still no fee to stay. Pit toilets were also unlocked. No AT&T service. Very quiet and pleasant.
Report Check-Ingreat place to stop for the night, past the campground are many spots that are beautiful. very peaceful and highly recommend
Report Check-InAs stated, campground is currently closed due to Covid-19 but there are plenty of primitive camping apots along the road. Just look for fire rings left by others
Report Check-InUSFS Campground Closed due to COVID-19, However, Red Cloud Canyon Road has MANY free dispersed sites along the road with stone fire pits and level parking sites. The area is beautiful and I highly recommend, even if the official campground is closed or full, this is a beautiful area with tall pines!
Report Check-InBeautiful spot. Lots of room between sites, short gravel drive in, doable in any vehicle. Washrooms clean and stocked!
Report Check-InIt was totally empty when we were there. We only spent one night, really nice and secluded, clean toilets, well organized for tents and RV. The road is a wide dirt road well maintain
Report Check-InLots of local animals by the road at night ! Drive slowly!!! Looks amazing I bit far from the road by súper worthy!!!
Report Check-InA great little spot up an unpaved but maintained dirt road.
I easily drove my bus and trailer up the road with nary a trouble.
I had the place all to my lonesome for two days and nights during the weekday.
Only two trucks came by while I was there and they quickly went.
The sites are clean with fire rings and tables, plenty of hammock opportunities too.
Shade abounds as do roaming cows.
There are flys but no worse than other else I have camped.
The pit toilets were as clean as pit toilets can be.
