gabrielle_gabi | Nice, flat area near the peak of Morro do Chapéu. Good spot for camping with tents or parking a RV. Spent one night here and it was very calm, silent and there was no one around. Mobile internet from Vivo works fine. The road suggested by Google to access this place is not so good though. If you aren't travelling with a 4x4 vehicle it's highly recommended to take the longer path using restaurant Kanto da Ilha as starting point. |

TomandJacki | The camp spot and the lake were so calm and peaceful. Unfortunately the pit toilet was one of the worst we've seen since we hit the road 2 months ago. |

MilesVanJones | the road to get to this Beach is a small residential drive, my 23' RV 10'6" high did just fine it's a small parking area with not many choices for a level overnight. the path to the beach is down a slightly steep informal path. the beach is gorgeous!! We had a peaceful night's sleep and a beautiful sunset. |

merridy.d | Nice little car park on the side of the road. There’s about 50 car parks here with both RVs and vans parked for the night. Lots of road works along the way but not a lot of traffic |

Uberlanders_ | Now has a locked gate with Private Property sign. We went back and took the entrance just before - it’s a bumpy/rocky road leading up to the water. Would recommend high clearance & 4x4 but not necessary - though the sand was soft in some places. Watch the tides & park on high ground! The water rises up a lot and in our case, even flooded the street leading up to the beach. We had to leave and thankfully got out to the road and just parked in front of someone’s home for the night (we asked permission). |

Wilde Weite Welt | Remote and rustic wilderness camp with a distant view of Kori Pan. Many birds will visit you if you offer water. A primitive long-drop-toilet and nothing else but nature. Access from Rakops to Matswere Gate and further on is ok with some scratches on the truck from branches. Also south to Deception Pan the track is ok, north to Sunday Pan and Leopard Pan it gets very narrow. |

Some locals drive around the area but it’s quiet at night. Can stay overnight without issues. Have stayed here multiple nights without any issues |

Escapethehague_overlanding | Beautiful campsite. We stayed 3 nights. It takes about 45 mins of 4x4 terrain to reach the camp. Very spacious sites, own abblution block with hot water (geyser) and friendly owners. Several nice hiking trails around (not very well signposted). Can buy wood and some game meat at the house. |
