attendant interrupted filling multiple cans to fill mine went in and paid less than $15 for 20 lb cylinder.

Really great sites, there are pit toilets and it was almost empty when we arrived. There are paths to a pebble beach with epic views and more fire pits right on the water. Plenty of dry wood there. In the morning some crews were active clearing downed trees, but you could hardly hear them.

Very nice, cosy and friendly, restaurant with a garden in this small and pleasant town. Ideal for lunch with good local food. They also serve as a i-Info-point and seem also to offer accommodation

Probably not the typical SA campsite … yet still very pleasant, lots of space, trees, friendly and welcoming owner, modern and very clean private toilet/shower, water and electricity
R80/vehicle, R60/pp, ie 200/night for 2pers … much cheaper than the communal Open Mine Caravan Park, where the charge would have been R365

Super quiet, we didn't see a soul all night except for faint car headlights in the distance from the main road. The salt flats and shells were really cool :)

A great spot for the night, right on the beach. Four other vehicles stayed the night. There is a public park at the top of the hill, which was a bonus for our kids.

Stopped in for some gas and snacks, asked about the water fill up, station attendant said no problem! Easy to park its right by the air for your tires. Thank you Conoco!

BLM Campground. $12 per site. Pit toilets. Water spigot near bathrooms but didn't work or is turned off for season. Lots of sites. Shared bear boxes. Next to creek in Ruby Creek Recreation Area. Very windy. OK place to stop over but probably not a destination unless you fish. Only one other party here in a 5th wheel.

The area is quite washed out (currently dry), but with care any vehicle can enter and find a spot. Traffic on the road is more than we expected, but we did not venture away from the road too much in our 25ft class C. Location is good for the Red Rock area.

Propane fill up, water on the side next to ice container. cheap diesel and gaz. Very good service.

A quiet place near the virgin river as advertised. Was not crowded at all. A little rocky but nothing bad. Did get a little windy on top of the hill but it died off at night.

Rough road getting in, but we made it just fine in our 2WD Promaster (just go slow). There are several spots along the road, but we stuck with the one the first person reviewed since it was easy to get into and out of. There is a pull off to the left just before this one, but it was too steep for us. Good Verizon reception. Beautiful sunset view!

Very easy to get to with Google Maps. Hopping pretty good on a Monday. Lots of activity. iIncredible scenery. More to come.

Warm water spring and campsite. Magda Steenkamp is the new manager at the site and the place is still under renovation. Very nice place. We hope when we comes again it will be completed.

This was a perfect pitstop, we had a quiet night and good, free wifi. We even mentioned to a local who was watching us park that this was going to be our spot for the night. He said, "Oh, I don't think that any of the folks around here will mind one bit." Turned out to be true.

While getting gas here, I saw a travel trailer filling up with water from the rear of the building. Didn't ask myself but maybe worth it to ask.

My favorite place that I stayed in PEI. Quiet, beautiful sunset/sunrise, loads of space. This was the first lighthouse I visited on the island so it made me think all the other lighthouses would be like this too but no! Please leave no trace to keep this spot accessible in the future, my dog found a human shit in the bushes...

Great access to river. Very close to highway. Just a pull off really.

Wonderful spot between Savuti and Kasane. Mike Gunn has set up a waterhole which is frequented by all the game within a 20km radius at least. Fantastic views (Lion and Wild dog kills not uncommon) from the bar and the camp. Camps are shady and abolitions clean. A bit pricey, but worth it. Food and drinks available as well as chalets but they are not cheap. We paid around 300 pppn camping. Had lion around the camp 2 of our 3 nights. Great elephant and buffalo sightings daily.

Rolled in late and left early. As described above but I’d add that our site had a distinct smell - like it was too close to an outhouse. Not pleasant! Other sites were likely better. It was dark and sites were not marked well for nighttime arrivals so we put up with it.

Just next to the building, you will found water with an hose. Perfect to fill up the tank.
