After passing the majority of the crowd the first 0.25miles from the highway, there are more spots and more secluded with fire rings. The road can be a little rough but I saw a minivan pass us. We were in a Jeep pulling a teardrop trailer (non-off road wheels) and it did fine. Just go slow. Took a picture of the road/rock condition. After a rain though, it’ll probably be pretty muddy.
There are spots near the mesa, overlooking the Virgin River with a spectacular view! We were about 0.1miles from that spot and still had great views!
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Great spot just outside of Zion
4 bars of 5G (T-Mobile)
Lots of spots, some with easier paths to get to than others. Arrived at 5pm and found quite a few of the spots taken. I didn't have any issues finding one, but you may consider getting here a little early
Wonderful view
Report Check-InGreat views and free camping on public land! Stayed here 3 nights while visiting Zion. We liked the right side better but the left side was also very nice. We used our tent and saw one other tent camper, the rest were RVs. About 30mins from the west entrance, very nice hot showers also at Zion west entrance for $4 per 5mins.
Report Check-InAs in the description, legal camping on public land with several sites available. Close to services and Zion Park. Nice view and 4 internet bars with AT&T.
Report Check-InA quiet place near the virgin river as advertised. Was not crowded at all. A little rocky but nothing bad. Did get a little windy on top of the hill but it died off at night.
