Ana made the arrangements to ship our Ford Ranger camper for Ushuaia to Alaska adventure between Cartagena and Veracruz. Ana was introduced to us by others. Ana is keen to communicate and makes things happen. I saw good value in her confidence, port connectivity and delivering a reliable service. All-in-all a good experience.

Ana is very professional and get things done. She made the arrangements for our Ford Ranger camper on a Argentina to Alaska trip. You can count on her are the support team. Her language skills did not prove to be any obstacle.

A hub for Chinese cyclists to stopover before heading up towards the two passes on the Baima (white horse) Snow Mountain or cycling into Tibet. There are dorm beds (Tibetan decoration), or private rooms for 2-3 people. With private or shared bathrooms. All affordable and nice. Some are with lovely mountain views. You can also eat affordable, nutritious meals on site (simple standard Chinese dishes).

The highlight is a massive number of doodles on the wall left by cyclists!

Free permits available at the visitor centre. Just off the main road and lots of spots. No issues in 2WD promaster but it had been very dry. My dogs came across a dead dog out here that I had to call into the police so not my favourite spot to think of ☹️

Juan, Luisa, and Santi have been our guardian angels with helping us to resolve all of our camper problems. In addition to creating their own high quality overlanding products and incredible in-house solutions for vehicle/camper problems, they also work with amazing mechanics and workshops. Whatever problem you have, they will help you fix it and they’ll work with you every step of the way. Juan and Santi were instrumental in the reconstruction of significant parts of our damaged camper. Without their hard work and attention to detail we wouldn’t have gotten back on the road so quickly. We also have to give Santi a special thanks for keeping our spirits up throughout the stressful rebuild. We highly recommend working with the Gadgets 4x4 family. They are the best!

Good company with fast processing was available at any time and for any question. Habeeb did a great job. We were able to ship our van to Iran to Bandar Lenghe for 380 Usdollar without any problems.

We paid 75pp for the tour of about 45 minutes, one of the best experiences we had in our 6 weeks in Ghana. Guide explains the history of why the local community decided to protect the monkeys, unlike elsewhere in Ghana. We walked along the paths through the Forrest, saw the mona and B/W Colobus & the guide explained some plants and trees and also a tree planting project for visitors to have trees named after them for a donation. We didn't do this but it was a nice idea. The place was quiet but has a lot of potential for tourism.

The road to reach the community is dirt but no problem, 2wd Sprinter.

This place got a new fence which makes it a lot smaller and you can‘t park at the lake any more. Further, they don’t allow staying overnight any more unless you ask very friendly and pay 100npr. Very busy during the day and no toilets.

Cheikhani supported us in managing the complicated border to get to Mauretania. He was very helpful and friendly and speaks also English fluently. (his WhatsApp number is +222 36 18 95 69)

Amazing hot showers! Didn’t see the host at all, pay online - signs when you arrive tell you how to do this. Outdoor washing up sink also with hot water

Averigüe si podía arreglar una perdida de diesel en la bomba inyectora y me derivaron a otro mecánico de la ciudad. Terminé en guapiles, laboratorio digasa. Excelente servicio y me solucionaron la pérdida de combustible en el mismo día.

As mentioned, meticulous work, Marco and the team are excellent and really knowledgeable. Marco explained to us, every single thing he and the team were finding along the check, which is very welcoming and comforting. We understand our van much more and its behaviour thanks to them and their explanations!

Un ran lugar para acampar rusticamente, nosotros usamos agua y electricidad. Hay baños para hombres y mujeres con regadera y agua caliente. Atiende las necesidades por un precio que nos pareció justo (150 pesos diarios por persona). Seguramente regresaríamos.

Very friendly owner, gave us some free homemade bread (when we asked about the Tienda or lunch) when we arrived. We ended up with a private room (with 6 beds) for 50bob pp. Then 50bob for afternoon tea, dinner and breakfast. Food was pretty generous though we ended up getting the leftovers from all the tours which helped. Bit overlooked as there were 4/5 tour groups so a bit chaotic, but did eventually get seen to and amazingly had our own room. Overall felt very welcomed and looked after.

Parking for personnel only. This place should be closed, it's clearly impossible to stay there.

nice place to free camping, with 25feet rv. no problem to go.

Spent the night. Lots of traffic but was shaded from afternoon sun.

Best camping site in town. Very tidy and neat. Clean and well kept ablutions. Concrete stands each wil proper braai and 220V point. Communal netted braai boma. R200/p/'n

The park is lovely to hang out at during the evening, parked near the tennis courts as they had lights on to 10pm then moved to the street alongside the park. Washrooms seemed to stay open all night. Traffic was quiet on the street from 11pm to 7 am.

Lots of places and some big enough for groups. Late sunset and early sunrise.
