Description

We stayed 5 days at this very pretty spot on the lake where you can easily swim. This is a field where there are afternoon paragliding lessons and 3 small drinks stands. The atmosphere is super nice, a few locals came to meet us, nice encounters, never intrusive. A bus takes you from here to the city center. Many bars and restaurants around, and small grocery stores. There is also a water hose to fill up on the street above a little before arriving. When we arrived on the 1st evening, a man charged us 500 Rnp for the night... (we never saw him again!). The next day, when speaking with the traders on the ground, we learned that the real rate is 50 Rnp/day. So be careful! but in the end, these 5 idyllic days were well worth it, no hard feelings!

Latest Check-Ins

This place got a new fence which makes it a lot smaller and you can‘t park at the lake any more. Further, they don’t allow staying overnight any more unless you ask very friendly and pay 100npr. Very busy during the day and no toilets.

The place is nice with views of the lake but quite busy during the day with many motorcycles passing by. However, we stayed 2 nights and no one bothered us. Keep in mind that at night they close the entrance gate and you cannot leave or enter until the next day. We pay 50 rupees per day
