Today (end of dry season) it was possible to cross the river by morocycle (see picture). Comming from labe it's the track on the right after the military check point. The left track goes to the ferry crossing. ok for 4x4. By motorcycle go by foot to see where thg big holes are before crossing.

Got in just fine with my oversized van. $8/night with electricity, but I wouldn't count on powering much. I'm just running my fridge. I also had to jockey my van around a fair bit to get close enough to one of the two plugs that I could even plug in.

Road noise is present, but aside from the occasional packs of loud motorcycles, isn't overwhelming. In 3 days I haven't heard a single truck use its engine brake. In bed with my vent fan going, I barely even notice it.

People are very nice, the place is kept clean, and at least for right now you can pick fresh mangos up off the ground and eat them. The internet has also been just fine for normal browsing.

Fair warning: there is a pizza shop right nearby, which made me pretty excited, but it was the worst pizza I've ever had.

Little bit of noise here and there from people romping on the highway or leaving Irving. If you pull to the trail to the left it goes to a couple of open spots away from the road and sight, made it back there with a VW Jetta wagon (wouldn't go bigger than a half-ton, overgrown). It is quite dirty and could use some love and it'd be beautiful. Wasn't bothered in the slightest. Was a nice spot for a night overall.

Mr. Erdem is a real master of upholstery. He can do all related work at seats and covering all interior surfaces.

Tons of parking, lots of grassy areas. Usual traffic noise but it’s nice and open, super clean and friendly feel

I parked where the trucks normally go. no one came to charge me. quiet night after 10ish. they have showers and baños but I did not use them

Typical 24hr location. Large lot to stealth camp.

you can park in the parking lot for free (neighbors give you water and toilet) or you can park at the Centro Cultural, under the roof with shade. They give you electricity, water, toilet access. It is safe. Ask for Manuel.
They had temporary WiFi, but we got wifi fro. the restaurant next door.

a hot day in the jungle... and then you come here. we were very happy! really nice and huge pools (one with a slide, one for Kids, one with a hammock). everything perfectly clean. easy leveled parking for big rigs, too. 80 BOL pp. Taste dinner. we would come again. good entel.

Two visa cards worked here, up to 20 000PKR (70€) at a time. Fixed fees of 750PKR

Narrow place between the lake and the road to spend the night.

Right off the county road, picnic area and trash, water pump. No restroom. Easy pull in/out. Good for a night while driving across Kansas. There is another one just down the road outside of Leota as well. Keep it clean please.

Nice Little motel just down the road to the national parc. Clean and safe parking outside.

Very nice Place for overlander´s , totally green and super quiet, nice and clean Pools, lots of animals to knuddle, our daughter really enjoyed this Place. We could use shower and toilet from one cabana. Paid 70k for us 2.5 and our Truck, a bit expensive but totally worth the Price. In front of properes is a small woodden bridge, no Problem for our 8t, but for heavier trucks??

Lovely spot, had a great night. A few fishermans left with the sunset, two arrived at 8 in the morning but no one said anything.

Booked through booking.com for 17OMR, but with reception would have been OMR15, boths no breakfast included. Payment Visa/MC possible.
Grocery store just walking down the road 5mins, "restaurants" close by (driving distance).
Got pool and kids playground, so might be noisy during weekend and holidays...

great place to spend the night. a few visits from locals just driving around. loads of room.
when you go to toilet don't forget to take a bin with you instead of leaving your toilet paper on the ground.

Easy to add water to tank if you pull along side. The spigot does spray water everywhere, so you have to hold your hand around it (it comes up through the top of the valve.) You have to push the handle down to operate. We were happy to find water this early in the season.

Pretty camping in Mielno with 15 camper spots. Close to the sea and lake. Clean and in a quiet side street. Very well booked during high season. Open all year.
