Best place to stay near Monrovia, clean and quiet place during the night. Park in the courtyard of an NGO property with 24/7 security, buy some nice soaps and flavoured honey which are made onsite to support the cause.

We visited with LWB Sprinter, probably the largest vehicle that would fit inside. Paid 10$ per night. There is a tap to fill water tank, filtered water for drinking, toilet, outdoor shower & a breezy rooftop to relax and watch the sun set.

The neighbourhood is calm, within walking distance there is a beach bar, kebab shop & two western style supermarkets. But no ATM nearby.

Kent's a nice guy, just whatsapp message before arrival due to limited space.

Decent sized carpark, security are a bit strange. We had falafel wrap $7, fried chicken waffle sandwich $7 & large fries $4. Nice

Right on the lake. Can kayak, paddle board, boat and fish on the lake. $35-45 for water and electricity. $20 for tent camping no water or electric. They have a website. Some weekends are more $ bc they have bands and catfishing/bass fishing contests.

Well stocked supermarket! Can also recommend the mixed grill lunch at the last restaurant on the right-hand side (as you face the supermarket)

Stayed here on a weekday night. Fairly quiet, right next to a private property road. No one else was camped out.

Plan on leaving early if staying on a weekday, it appears to be a school bus stop at about 6:30 am.

Right off of the highway but not too noisy. No one bothered us.

The Shell filling station don't register sim cards any more. you can try to register your MTC SIM card online on MTC website.

You can buy and register your SIM card here. But long queue. You can try to buy Sim card on the market and register online on MTC website. Be aware, that MTC SIM doesn't work with a second SIM card in your phone.

Drove a bit fown thw gravel road. A bit bumbi, but ok in our 30 feet RV. Took it slow. Found a nice almost level spot, where the road splits in two. Did only see a couple of spots, maybe more, if you drive further. Just a couple of cars drove by. Nobody else overnight. Very quit. Only thing we had a visit by a ground squirrel inside the RV....🤔

Very professional truck repair shop. Probably not the cheapest place but very thorough. The manager speaks English fluently. He helped us to find tires at another place in Astana, very nice!

Campsite in the middle of nowhere. Basis but very clean facilities. Kind owners. nice spot to see sunset, sunrise and when there are no clouds: great place to see the stars.

This spot is absolutely wild, I swear, it’s a glitch in the matrix. The abandoned motel is HUGE! It’s parking lot wraps around the hill, and connects to another lot where a Visitor Center used to be. Great views. Someone else is up here though. Just doing laps in a car, coming up towards me and then driving away :/ They’ve driven by twice. I moved. Found a whole other driveway/road/maze that goes in a big circle up some weird ass hills. A random tow truck is sitting there. 10pm on a Wednesday. I park at the top. Same fkn car drives by again.

Weird spot. Proceed with caution.

PS- there is not one single “NO TRESPASSING” sign

Stayed there for more than 2 weeks. Perfect place to relax from fulltime travelling.
We could use the hot shower in one the rooms.
Clemens the owner is a very kind person. He took us downtown to buy some stuff. Some vegetables you can buy on the farm...and good coffee of course.
Clemens son Paul did a tour on the farm with us. We had the feeling he knows everything about coffee and he definitely is in love with the beans.
We also met his nice wife Diana and their son.
We wish all the big family the very best.

Very narrow road with many vusshes, hard to a big rig. We arrived to an empty place with nobody there.

We enjoyed our stay at this nice and well equipped campground very much. We were able to visit downtown Santiago and leave our Camper at this safe place. They offer to use their washing machine and provide potable water

Very nice place! Last bit was really narrow and a little washed out & dusty, only 4x4! Possible with a normal sized car, we are 2,10m broad.

Otherwise very calm, beautiful river access & no mosquitoes. Orange 4G - works okey.
Sadly no wind in the evening, so the hot air of the day took a while to dissipate.

Great location.
You can camp there or rent a small house.
Cheap.
Nice kitchen.
Very friendly family.

If you are in a motorhome, it's a parking lot in a beautiful park with mature trees and lots of birds. No water tap or electricity nearby. Quiet. Nice lawns for tenting.

We are halfway there, but the road is not fun in our 20' class C. Maybe if you have great suspension and don't mind your teeth rattling out you'll enjoy the ride there. Pretty washed out. We turned around.

Water spiket right in front of the gas station in the gravel. Free.

Stayed here three nights using Passport America rate. Bathrooms had lots of cobwebs but showers were clean and hot. Wifi did not work so I ended up using my Starlink. The spot they gave me had no grass for the dogs. There are a lot of full timers that live here and they aren’t super friendly. Almost everyone has 1-2 small dogs that bark 24/7 but then someone claimed my dogs were barking in the middle of the night (they were not). Smells strongly of manure most of the time. Wouldn’t return personally.

here you can fill your water tanks the price is 100 cfa/25l and it is written there officially. They have even a counter so that you pay the correct amount of water. parking with big rig is no problem

Dump Station, propane and gas. Lots of premade food and supplies at the store

open. still 25 Real per Person. off season pretty quiet. The toilets could be a little cleaner. There is a shower, but I didn't use it. I set up my tent directly under one roof from the huts.

whent there after severel days of rain. the level of the river was so high that there was no waterfall to see. best to check the live camera online before you go there! 10 Real parking fee for my motorbike. smal Museum and a Kiosk with Snacks and drinks.

Nice Lodge, we slept under a Tree and got a key for a room to take a shower and use the toilets. We also filled up our water tank.

WiFi is ok.

They speak a little bit English.

Big plus, the owner is a good friend of the chief Police officer at the Boarder between Senegal and Guinea on the Guinea side.
