Description

Mexican recreation area with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, restaurants, hotels, billiard room, museum, etc. We in camped in the parking lot in the park with a beautiful view. For tents there is a separate area. Toilets and showers available. A power outlet can be found in the streetlight in the parking lot, as well as a water tab to fill the tank. Atlimeyaya is located nearby where you can eat excellent fresh trout. (Camping 190pesos / 2xperson)

Nice and well maintained place. Camping for van with 2 persons is now 215 pesos per night. Wifi works until parking area. When we were here, they just had drained the outdoor pool for maintenance. Hence they allowed us to use the indoor pool at no extra cost, which is a large and nice and clean pool under a glass roof.

This place is beautiful and cool and has lots of amenities, but it is NOT dog friendly. I don't know who put that here, but we brought our dog in no problem, and then everyone stopped us and told us No Dogs! I kept explaining that they let us in and we're camping and we didn't know, and they said she could be in the camp area only. Then someone else said not at all. Who knows.
Showers are nice and hot, toilets are clean, the landscaping is beautiful, and the WiFi works well in the reception area.

The prices changed: now it’s 200p for a camper for one day and night. Toilets are okay, the showers are amazing super hot and with pressure. They have beautiful and peaceful gardens. You can use the huge swimming pool. They have a restaurant in the pool or you can walk 2 minutes to Metepec village where you can find very cheap and good Mexican restaurant.

Came at 7pm to spend the night in the tent (you have to bring your own) Big campground area but expensive to stay just the night (135$pp). It gives you access only to the exterior pool on the other side (a bit far from the campground area) open from 9am to 5pm. The showers and bathroom were not so clean (maybe cuz of low season?). So maybe worth it if you spend the day there and that the weather is nice. 190$ for a camper for 2 people.

This place is open again. Our strong recommodation. A very well kept parc. A huge pool and fantastic hot showers. we paid 190 MEX for our van and two persons.

Report Check-In

Currently "closed until further notice" due to earthquake damage. There were dozens of construction workers repairing the main gate and surrounding walls, so hopefully it will be up and running again shortly! The guard at the gate told us about the fishing park (also IMSS) around the corner. So we stayed there. Will add to map.

Huge recreation area with pools, campground, etc. but without any guests - we were the only ones! WiFi only near the reception. M$230
