The Nomadic Experience | Didn’t see any actual camping spot except for a small pull off, and the dirt road gets pretty sketchy without high clearance/4WD. Didn’t seem worth going out of your way to. I moved on to somewhere else. |

lisamg74 | We stayed at this great spot two nights going to and from Nova Scotia. Nobody else here except a few cars visiting now and then. Lots of space and level for our truck and 5th wheel. Quiet. |

lisamg74 | We rolled in at 2 am, only two other vehicles here. Be sure not to miss the driveway to turn in on your right, it comes up fast after the bridge. We missed it and had to do a circle to get back to it. We were hoping for a boat but didn’t see any, it was a short stay. Good spot. |

_roadtales | We are a bit surprised no one before mentioned issues with the dog. There are three big ones. They all seem friendly at first and are as long as you stay away from the house (where toilets and showers are in). The dark brown dog runs towards you when you walk to the toilets and barks. It blocked the way for me and made biting motions with its mouth. I turned back, did not dare to pass it. My boyfriend is more secure with dogs and walked to the toilet. The dog grabbed his pants from the back. Luckily did not bite. Once you are in the toilet it stops caring.
Owner are friendly, campspot is nice toilets very dirty with trash and Toiletpaper lying around on the floor. |

Jamie Z | Roadside restaurant. Good, filling food. Wifi. I paid CLP$7000 for dinner, including soup, salad, main, and a coke. Sign on the door says open from 7am until midnight. The young man inside speaks a little English. |

les.breizh.trotters | We spent a calm night on a grassy area at the black of the place, far from the road. We were warmly welcomed by the sympathetic owner for free. Mini-farm and outdoor games great for the kids. The restaurant is good and freshly pressed jugos de cana are incredibles ! |

John Patterson Sr | If you go west past the visitor center you will probably miss the dump station sign but if you turn around which you can in a 1/4 mile and come back towards the visitor center, you will see the dump sign on the right on Ash hopper branch |

2dogs.ontheroad | Awesome spot! Near Sahalie and Koosah waterfalls. Quiet and hidden from road if you go in a bit. Very exposed with no shade in the summer so it might get pretty hot. Snow in the winter would also make this inaccessible.

stalecent86 | We stayed on the owl draw road and found a beautiful flat pull off spot a little past this turn off. The road is easy to get back with 2x4. We got in around 3pm and only saw 2 jeeps and 2 atv drive by the entire time we were there. Beautiful views of the book cliffs and other mountains in the distance. Some cell service but not enough to use as a hot spot. One of the most beautiful drives you will ever take from here to Moab. Highly recommend staying at this spot a night on the way in/out of Moab! |

karrer.benschi | Huge rectangular tunnel that could fit big rigs, height is about 3m. We pitched our tent there and had an undisturbed night apart from the traffic noise. There are no signs that vehicles pass through this tunnel, the nearest houses are distant. We only saw some lama and sheep herds in the evening guided by a shepherd. They might want to use the tunnel to avoid crossing the street so leave some space for this case. We managed to make a fireplace to warm us in the cold morning.

Go Go Gringitos | 40/pp very nice spot. Shared shower, shared kitchen. Mario is very nice. Even cheaper if you can sleep in a tent. No parking except across the street offers parking for 15/bob for the night. Otherwise the street is free! The wifi did not work. |

zuzWEITweg | Simple place for putting up a tent. Place is at the edge of Ayo Ayo near an old soccer field (the new one is down in the village). We stayed directly besides the wall of the building. Some locals driving by but nobody bothered us and all were friendly. Potable water available in the village (also on iOverlander). Some road noice from the highway, but only visable from the village. |

germanvan08 | Rio Grande National Forest land. First site accessible by most vehicles from 66T after that may want 4wd. Probably not nice for big rigs. Sites with firepits, some large could fit multiple vans, some smaller spots too. No facilities. 1 bar Mint Mobile. |

[email protected] | Those that have stayed here overnight must have stayed on the trooper's night off. It's illegal to overnight here, as the not-so-nice trooper informed me last night, long after I had settled in bed. We need to shut down this and any location in the state forest area. |
