Nice big parking next to a Home Depot and across from a large church. A little traffic noise but generally quiet. Stayed 2 nights with no issues.

An extremely nice, well maintained bike/eco park that offers both tent and vehicle camping, the best bathrooms and showers I've seen in literally years, a four volcano/city/lake view, a fire pit with amphitheater seating overlooking said view (the night guard built me a fire without having been asked, and pointed me towards a big pile of wood to keep it going), a restaurant during the day, a couple of playgrounds and picnic areas, is big rig friendly, has bike rentals, and has a very worthwhile shuttle from the bottom of the trails so you can avoid the 500m climb back out if you want to. Even that was fun and really beautiful (but bumpy; it's a 4x4 track, not luxury ride).
The bike trails are *super* fun, one way, and well marked, separated, and graded by ability level. They also have pump tracks, jump lines, and hiking only trails if that's your thing.

Pets allowed on leash and on the hiking trails, but my dog is incredibly and obviously well behaved so they told me to let him off. The park and trails are open from 7-4, and I'm guessing they generally care much less about the leash rules after hours, so long as you have a dog who just hangs out with you and doesn't wander.

No wifi, but OK Claro 4G depending on where you are in the park. Plenty of open sky for starlink.

The only thing that's a bit goofy is that they wouldn't let me move my van into the camping area until after 3:30pm and I'll need to clear off by 9am. I'm not sure if they will let me post up here for multiple days, and as tired as I am after riding, I'm not sure I'll try to find out.
They also have a huge parking lot that I could have stayed in for free, which has enough flat space for 1-2 vehicles at the far corner. My guess is that this doesn't come with bathroom access.
There are a couple of switchbacks on the access road, and some slightly low hanging branches that big rigs will scrape, but only 1-2 limbs that you'd need to take care to avoid. For reference, my van is 7.8m long and 3.2m tall, and some roof/brush scraping aside I had zero troubles. It's a one lane road in many places, so expect some backing up and scooting over for other vehicles.

Of important note is that Google maps SUCKS in this area. SUCKS. SUUUUCKSSAH. It will give you two options off of the main road, neither of which are correct.
If you come from the north, you take the main road off of the highway, and then enter through a large, blue gate on the right hand side that you will have to wait for a security guard to open. (This place feels *very* secure, btw).
If you come from the south it's a bit trickier in that you'll need to do some u-turn jiggery on the highway, loop around the backside of the gigantic mega church, pass by both roads that google is going to tell you to take, and look for that same gate. Once through the gate you just stay to the left for ~2km.

The downside is that it's a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for on this one. It's easily the best campsite I've had in a long time.

There are quite a few pull offs on this road with fire rings. I found them on the way to the Lexington Arch Trail Head. The dirt road is in a great condition, any car should be able to make the drive. I spent almost 24 hours here and didn’t see anyone else, it’s fairly secluded despite being right next to the road.

Chef Marcos Barbier drives a chef driven restaurant with local ingredients. We had trout, chicken pesto and salad and two very nice glasses of wine for $20usd per person. Open for one lunch and dinner. Convenient on street parking.

Marcos speaks English and helped us find cash at a local gas station (put it on ioverlander).

A great all around stop for us.

Great place to have a meal, restaurant is a cozy area on a 2nd floor with awesome views where Doña Julia will always receive you with great food.
Right now is about $130 pesos for soup, main and water.

I can see many people were not enthusiastic about this reserve, but I have to say we really enjoyed it (maybe because our expectations were low? Or maybe because there was barely anyone around)
Basically it is a 30ish km circuit, you follow the tracks to various beaches or viewpoints. We didn't see much wildlife but the landscapes were spectacular! We even found a pink lagoon (also on iOverlander). If you are here outside high season I definitely recommend to drive the circuit. If you plan to do the classic boat tour as well, you can get a ticket for both days of NP entrance for 17soles.

This road crosses a mine. We were stopped by the guards. Impossible to negotiate. The only road that allows you to bypass the mine is currently cut off. We had to turn around.

Excellent pizzeria! Big and good for a reasonable price! The boss is very friendly and helpful! It's a little difficult to find: you have to enter the patio passing through a café, go to the very back and climb the stairs!

Excellente pizzeria!

What a surprise when we saw the garden from the road, it was full of tables.
We went there for the lunch, the owner is so nice. They even prepared a veggie alternative without any discussion.

at this YPFB service station after negotiation we were able to load diesel at 4.5 bols per liter directly into the tank. we also loaded a can of gasoline for 4.5 bols per liter. we were there at night around 9 p.m., perhaps easier to negotiate.

Still no showers and this probably won't change. We asked how much the price was for a room; 24k, but it's Argentina so this can change tomorrow. We got to take a look in the room which was small but decent. Facilities seem a bit worn down, the entrance hall was a bit misleading. We didn't stay but fair enough price if you need your sulfur fix and don't have a shower in your rig.

This was a super great experience. They are Spanish teachers so they really meet you at your level of Spanish and we had an incredible time. We started at 5 but didn’t leave until 10 after playing games and spending time with their students who live in the house.

We felt super welcome. This one is also cheaper than the other cooking class in sucre. This one is 150/pp. We felt it was well worth it, they even sent us home with leftovers.
