Showed up on a Wednesday and there were only two sites taken. Good for an easy and free stop. One bar of LTE with ATT.

Great spot! We grabbed the last site on a Saturday night in May. Definitely may be hard to get a spot in the summer, but very nice sites for no charge. Day use area on the lake also has a water pump, outhouse and tables.

Quiet site with 8 campsites and fire rings. Lake has trout stocked and boat launch and dock. Marginal Verizon service.

Report Check-In

clean, recently renovated camp. there are eight sites, no charge. some are big rig friendly. no services, please keep everything clean and pack it out. there’s a we’ll to pump water from, but i’m not sure if it’s safe to drink. 100yards away is smith lake, with some picnic tables and a dock. ATT cell service is mostly reliable.

Beautifully wooded campground! It was fun watching the squirrels gather for the winter, and interesting listening to the logging operations in the area.
