Passamos uma noite aqui! Ótimo lugar para descansar no caminho de Cusco. Tem uma alpaca no jardim, o nome dela é Valentina. Cuidado com as aranhas no banheiro.

Basic, inexpensive campground along the Meuse river. Facilities dated, but clean. 10 minutes walk to village. Flat, grassy terrain, partly shaded. Dish washing facilities. €10 per night (2 adults, campervan, no power).

Beautiful free campsite! It was so nice we ended up extending our stay here. Around 20 sites with pit toilets, bins, picnic tables and fire rings. We arrived on Wednesday ahead of the long weekend and manage to grab one of the last sites - first come first serve.

Most state parks, campings, trails and rest areas are closed until middle of June in this area.

Hans is a very hard working German guy and well-known and appreciated host by everyone. The site has everything an overlander dreams of and a beergarten exactly like you’ll find in Germany. Mark our words - You’ll be deeply impressed by the German specility beer offerings and the food menu.

Many overlanders come here as you can see in the reviews and we’ve met some awesome fellow travellers. Definitely worth the stay if you are in the area.

Great location - Very quiet on Outdoors side since store is currently only using grocery side entrance.

Great stop on the route. The father showed us the beautiful church. Nice ablutions. We donated 1000,- for the two of us.

Nearly nothing left of the tar, but otherwise OK gravel road, not even 4x4 required in this area.

Diesel and petrol available, didn't ask for credit card payment.

Entrance height closer to 9 ft as our promaster van with max air vent fan fit underneath. Cleanest, most welcoming option of the open campgrounds near the beach here, but still not great. Asked 50 per person for motorhome. Tent camping 40 pp. Bathrooms with warm suicide showers. 110v in parking area. Wi-Fi very weak in camp area for vans. Better in tent zone. Street dogs barked off and on all night and random thumping music from cars.

Small self service laundry, also provides laundry service. Has large (22kg) and small (9kg) machines and detergent. They don't have a lot of machines, so come early if you don't want to wait.

- drying, large 80p small 50p
- detergent 7p for a single use

Open 8:00 to 20:00, 8:00 to 18:00 on Sunday.

Nice relaxed campground with friendly people and a couple of animals. Has everything you need and is quiet at night. Only advisable for smaller vans and tents.

this area is still closed. gate is locked. I'm staying at the diamond for campground and wanted to go there this weekend but not to be. at this point I'm being told June 1st.

The camping follows the same value: 3USD per person, per night. Admission to the park is free and you must enter before 3pm. The bathrooms, coffee and barbecue are away from the camping area.

Most friendly and comfortable Hotel in Quime I would say!
It seems to be the only Hotel in town which offers Wifi. There is a huge green area and swimming pool in front. You could camp or park your vehicle there.
Roberto is a very helpful, considered and communicative host.
He let me cook some simple food and hot water. His son and wife were as well always charming.
The prize was about 80 BOL for one person, I guess for 2 people you can get a room for 100 BOL and camping may be around 30 - 40 BOL.
I highly recommend this place and would always return there!

a popular hotel and restaurant with many of the expats and wealthier crowd. the owner is a super lovely dude and the food here is incredible for the price. dishes hovered around 8000-12000. We had fish carpaccio, Cray fish and rolled beef in cheese. (we did feel very fancy) it was some of the best sea food and meat dishes we have had on the trip. perfect for a special treat or reflexed evening!

Nice big level Cracker Barrel lot. There were at least 10 vans, campers etc when I got there. Quiet enough to get a good rest.

Very skilled and friendly garage which was willing to help us with our European registered car and own parts. We had an issue with the engine of our VW Crafter. After visiting quite some garages which were not able or willing to help, Craig was happy to help out. He is a very skilled mechanic, super friendly person and asked for a very fair price.

As described. Awesome place, peaceful, quiet, lots of space. Bathrooms are clean, the ranger even brought fire wood.
We loved it here!

45s/2p/n with breakfast. Very clean, warm shower but low pressure. Secure parking lot, the owner has to take you there, no big cars as the route is very narrow and a bit off-road.

We crossed from Mexico to US!

First we passed by a tool, payed (MX$ 30,00 or US$1,70)

Went to the left, to Mexico imigration to stamp our passports with our exit, we hadn’t to do anything about the car permit since it is a RV and it is valid for 10 years!
If you are sure you are not coming back to Mexico for the next 10 years with this same car you can cancel it!
So then we got back to the car, crossed the bridge, had our car inspection, lost our chicken and some veggies!
As Brazilian citizen a had to go inside the building to get my passport stamped, also I paid US$ 6 for it, super helpful and gentle agents it took only 5 minutes.
My husband as Italian Citizen didn’t had to go inside, just presented his ESTA and passport to the first agent that stoped us after the bridge and that’s it!

A lot of American goes to Mexico only to shopping and do dental treatments or take their pets to the vet or to just enjoy the city!
They don’t need to do any immigrations process if they are going to spend only the day over there, so it’s was a really empty border to do the crossing process!

- We we’re really afraid of this border since every single Mexican told us to no go to El Paso, Reynosa or Matamorros because we would be kidnapped or robbed by the narcos, they said that would be better to cross at Tijuana, but since it wasn’t our way we decided to go anyway and we took some cautions!

-It’s very important to never drive during the night in Mexico!
We were at Puebla, so we left very early in the morning, drove until Ciudad de Victoria, slept at a hotel there, woke up early and got to the border around 11am!
We were really worried and afraid all the way, but to be honest the road was really good, we were stoped at a military check point few hours before Reynosa and we actually felt safe during all the time!

Feed back of the long road 25 from Cochabamba to F3.
Its 480 km of pista. The side of the road of cochabamba province is in incredibly good shape with fabulous landscape of the mountains and traditional Bolivian way of life. Its all about going in top of the mountain and go down, cross à river and start climbing an other mountain. The other side of LaPaz Province is a nightmare lol. Sometimes very damaged sometimes ok, always pratiquable but very long and exhausting. We did all the road in 5 days with most of it at 20km/h, driving 4-6hours per day. There isnt a lot of nice place to sleep. And there isnt gaz station everywhere and a lot of them were out of diesel when we were there. We did it at the beginning of winter so no mud at all but incredibly amount of dust. We never needed to put in the 4x4 mode. I think we didnt enjoyed the road at the end of cochabamba province because of the dirty, dusty, damaged road. And we would never did it again lol

Loads of people here but a nice vibe - unfortunately when we were here the Porta potty had been taken away - hopefully it gets replaced!

We had a full service on our sprinter, before shipping it to Argentina. Eduardo will help you to get all the parts and oil you need for your car, which is awesome. If you are prepared you can also buy all the stuff beforehand and bring it straight to the shop, that will save you some time. The team did a good job on our van.

No showerw. Toilets are there but far from clean. Ladys always hang haha. There is a very nice watertap. We did a handwash. No one said something

Super nice. Showers available. Clean. Womans have to ask. Bigggg place to sleep witg no dust😍. People are super nice. There is also a grass spot to put tents:) there is not so much noise if you are in the car.

Full off grid camping. There is no man made light to disturb your view of the sky on a clear night.
Ablutions were built by the owner from local stone : nice touch.Flush toilets.
It was the first camping shower in a very long time where the water remained hot AND the pressure remained constant!
It is more suited to smaller off road caravans. The owner came to help us getting a big rig in position.
Getting out needs careful driving as well
At the cafe the owner made us a lovely English breakfast the next morning.
If you like to be on your own, a very worthwhile and affordable stop.
