Not allowed anymore.
They place about 10 sign of no camping , no Rv, buses or trucks .
They even put ciment block everywhere to stop all truck to get in the parking lot. Very sad

Mirador con zona de camping. Gratuito al menos fuera de temporada. Asadores, mesas baños, agua potable y electricidad. No hay duchas ni proveduría funcionando. Hay lugar para motorhome también

This is the perfect place to visit the Ibera Park ! Tony is very friendly, he can take you on a boat (8€pp) to explore the lagoons and canals. You can see caimans, capybaras, deers, it's incredible!
The campsite is very clean and large with a great view of the park. If you wish, Antunes can cook you a good meal with fresh products. If you want to cook, don't forget to do some shopping before coming, there are no supermarkets around.
We warmly recommend this place which is really worth a visit!

small, old station with LPG and benzin (I think diesel too). the benzin pump is not marked but the guy said it's 92. let's see...

update: bad gas, recommend you don't get gas here.

We got here 100 l Diesel with the card from the petrol station. Price was 6000 Rial/l

Beautiful scenery overlooking the Hoanib, nice setup. Privat shower, toilet and wash basin with mirror.
Private shaded and wind/rain protected area with kitchen sink.
Water was working and shower was hot.
Really amazing views overlooking the river Hoanib.

Lodge is really nice and well maintained.
The outside bathrooms are great!
Elephants (towels) are on the beds.
Pool in shaded area (trees), also for campers.

We just stayed for a coke, it was to early to stay here

I took the road and was confronted by the unhappy landowner. Apparently, the sign is just a sign and the arrow is not meant to be followed. Either way not that great and best to pass over this spot and head to the next one of its dark and you need a spot. It’s much better.

Solid spot for the night if it’s dark and you don’t want to brave Potosi. Nice view in the morning. Quiet. The usual trash.

Open field with an empty cottage and gravel road which is about 50 meters away from main road.

it's a small trail in the walking area, normally quiet between 20pm and 8am.

the trail is hidden among trees.

Very nice campsite, beautiful views and friendly owners. They have 6 campsites at the moment, also bush campsite. Rooms also available. Camping still $180 per person per night.

good clear chlorinated drinking water here along with a dump station.

Stayed there overnight and had to „move“ as a cooling truck was pulling in right next to us a 2 am and had the generator running all night. Showers were ok but expensive ($9 per person)

Place with great view, on the top of a little hill. 4x4 is needed. Close to a house but nobody. flat place 5m before the top of the hill.

Beautiful campsite with basic amenities. No WiFi, but very good 4G Claro reception. Managed to have a hot shower, before the power cut out. Very interesting round little trail. Friendly owner with 2 dogs & 2 cats. Paid only the equivalent of 2 dollars/day.

I found the guard to be very friendly, gave me a good explanation about the trails,which are free. Dog had to stay in the car. Not sure if you can stay overnight, but plenty campsites nearby.

We loved staying here. We kept extending our stay each day. You can tell the enjoy working here. They do have some full fulltime campers/residents here. On the weekends, they have some activities like ice cream nights, breakfast and bingo.

Found this nice woodsy spot while driving through the small roads here. It’s pretty quiet but there are occasional cars. There are no signs, and no one bothered me.

Dimalachite is situated on the banks of the Vaal river 10km from Parys in the Vredefort Dome.
You can book a campsite with electrivity (normal SA 3 point plug) and a braai facility on the bank of the river.
You can use different ablution facilities depending on the campsite you choose.The ablution facilities is always clean and has hot water. There is dishwashing facilities.
Water taps are scattered throughout the camp.
Dimalachite is situated on a game farm with quite a few species around.
You can book a white water rafting trip that is quite adventures, book a fishing trip, do a game drive, bird watching or just relax and enjoy nature.
You can buy wood, ice, cold drinks etc. from the kiosk.
There are activities for kids and a nice swimming pool.
We want our guests to enjoy nature so noise and music is not allowed.
We are 150km from Oliver Tumbo airport on your wat to Captown or the Kgalagadi.
We wish you a wonderfull stay.

Campervans, skip this place. There is only one place to pop your rooftop tent. It is in full view of 3 local houses with big families and music playing. These houses are only 5 metres away. You are parked in the playground of the children, that has trash and smells of trash. We didn’t feel good and left.

Spent the night without any issues. Very quiet. Cold in September, went down to 5 deg C. Keep it clean
