We are situated on the banks of the Vaal-river, close to Parys, in the Vredefort-Dome World Heritage Site. Dimalachite is named after the MALACHITE KING FISHER (Aloeda Cristata) that nests along the banks of the Vaal-river, surrounded by water, wild life and nature - where the call of the Fish Eagle can be heard from time to time.Accommodation options range from three star lodges & chalets. Camping sites on the riverbank and a youth hostel. We welcome private families and friends, corporate clients, adventure seekers and school groups.Come and relax at the swimming pool, do bird watching, paddle on the river or enjoy the thrill of White water Rafting. Join us for a guided game drive, guided fishing trip, corporate team-building, conferencing or leadership camp.The kids can bring their bicycles, swim, play at the jungle gym, try the trampolines, play mini golf or do paint-ball target shooting. Enjoy your evenings with friends, family or colleagues on the riverbank around a camp fire.

Very nice fishing spot. Clean ablutions. Rondawels are very neat. Workers on guided fishing trip really went out of their way to assist where they could. River rafting experience is definitely a must.

After a friendly, professional reception we booked in at Dimalachite. The ladies were hands-on and smiling!
We camped on the riverbank and relax and enjoyed the beautifull nature, birdlife, stars, sunrise and sunset views.
The resort and facilities - including the ablutions - are very clean and well maintained and we always felt safe.
They also offer lovely accommodation units for nin campers.
The river rafting was exceptional and this is the best fishing resort on the Vaal river.
Our family enjoyed the big swimming pool, put-put, trampolines game drive and paintball target shooting.
No music and noice is allowed, so the quiet evenings around the campfire were very special.
We will surely be back and highly recommend Dimalachite to all potentional visiters.

Dimalachite is situated on the banks of the Vaal river 10km from Parys in the Vredefort Dome.
You can book a campsite with electrivity (normal SA 3 point plug) and a braai facility on the bank of the river.
You can use different ablution facilities depending on the campsite you choose.The ablution facilities is always clean and has hot water. There is dishwashing facilities.
Water taps are scattered throughout the camp.
Dimalachite is situated on a game farm with quite a few species around.
You can book a white water rafting trip that is quite adventures, book a fishing trip, do a game drive, bird watching or just relax and enjoy nature.
You can buy wood, ice, cold drinks etc. from the kiosk.
There are activities for kids and a nice swimming pool.
We want our guests to enjoy nature so noise and music is not allowed.
We are 150km from Oliver Tumbo airport on your wat to Captown or the Kgalagadi.
We wish you a wonderfull stay.
