This was a beautiful peaceful camp ground. Very quiet. It has a pit toilet which was decent - better than having to use or portable. No cell phone service.

Nice pool, showers, and laundry facilities. There is one tent site with full shade if you were very lucky. Other sites have virtually no shade and are separated from neighboring sites to both sides and rear by a 2x4 rail. Our ground tents were 5’ away from our neighbors. No shade and no privacy.

It has thermal pools with running water. The current tenants are working hard to improve the place. Good place to relax in the thermal waters of up to 42°C.

So many options, fairly private spots. Was able to find a spot two nights in a row, but I got there pretty early both days (around 4PM). Cows are grazing right next to you, and you may get a moo-ing alarm clock lol. Also, there’s a rest area just a couple miles away if you lack a bathroom like me.

$20/night loved campground stayed here prior to driving the Dempster then again when we got back. Ferry easy to use, early in season so not overly busy. Camped right by river both nights, gorgeous. Toilets clean and well maintained.

Nice campground, super high pressured showers and nice picnic areas at your campsite. $18 a night for Water/electric. Verizon service was only at the top of the hill on the amphitheater. seemed to be a family campground for locals.

A solid choice for the night. One official site in several other places you could park. Official BLM land without restrictions on overnight camping. There’s a warning sign about toxic algae blooms so unfortunately no swimming.

Parked to stay the night on 6/3/22. Sheriff knocked on the window at 1:30 am and informed me that overnight parking is not allowed here…

Great place! Excellent pizza, a room to stay overnight, patio to keep the bicycles inside... Nice family feeling. Good location to split the ride between Abra Pampa and Humahuaca. Jose, the owner, used to have a bike shop.

In terms of feeling welcomed, this was the worst place ever … and the most complicated.
Camping sites ‚A‘ are spacious, lots of trees, but between chalets and not directly towards the beach. Grassy sites … which are in desperate need of beeing cut.
The last few hundred meters are narrow, ‚bushy’ and steep … doable also for a big rig, but not much of a margin … and once you are down on the camp ground there are just very few sites accessible for big rigs.

24 hour park with no signs that say you cant overnight. I stayed the whole night no problems. When I woke up there were about 7 other cars still parked as well. Was a bit noisy til around 9-10 because people were still at the park. Also had some street noise.

Small place near the Indian brook. Only accessible by small RV/van (around 6m long, 2,2m large and 2,5m high). This is a nice and quiet place not too far from TCH. This place is only accessible by the south since only ATV can cross the bridge. The place is on the left around 50m before the bridge.

Had to find a place to overnight. Got a very rustic self catering unit with no bedding, crockery. Had my own stuff with me. One star, but it is safe and friendly.

Very quiet. Parked in the back on the left side near the drainage pond. There is a "no RV parking" sign but it refers to the area before you get to the rear truck and RV parking area.

Perfect spot for our camper van. Several vans and tent campers here for the night. Spoke with the Ranger and he indicated you can stay here for 14 days. Quiet at night. Clean pit toilet. Nice hiking trail.

Nice spot by the park. A little busy area with a few locals around but spent a quiet night. Just down the alley from the main strip if you want to walk to the bar or Tim Hortons. Not super flat or spacious as it’s just a strip of parking bordering the pond and behind some businesses. It’s just off the main road.

A beautiful campsite set on a private farm, owned by Glen & Roz Burmeister. This is a gem of a place to stay, level ground, a donkey and hot shower, flush toilet and wash basin, electricity, natural wooden table and seating on logs, fireplace and wood provided, big tall trees and spectacular scenery. Glen was so so helpful and talkative, salt of the earth folk! It was cold as in -0.5 deg when we were there 03 June 2022. We paid R150 pp per night.

Free campsite suitable for tents as well. Also some stoned tents in which you could technically sleep. Picnic tables with roof, very quiet place. Literally next to the entrance of Petrified Forest/Painted Desert. Next to a small store with bathroom. Beautiful night sky.

Very calm street next to the Casino Parking. We spent 5 nights there without any problems. Guards are there until 3a.m and the location is a bit protected from the wind.
We highly recommend : very secure and nice (next to the beach)
