South Africa
A beautiful campsite set on a private farm, owned by Glen & Roz Burmeister. This is a gem of a place to stay, level ground, a donkey and hot shower, flush toilet and wash basin, electricity, natural wooden table and seating on logs, fireplace and wood provided, big tall trees and spectacular scenery. Glen was so so helpful and talkative, salt of the earth folk! It was cold as in -0.5 deg when we were there 03 June 2022. We paid R150pp for the night.

Beautifully set among magestic trees. very warm welcome by owners. Quiet serenity. Lovely natural braai facilities. Clean bathroom with shower.
Report Check-InThe place is still there and so are the friendly owners. The signs will lead you the way. Once you are on the property, there are 2 gates. One will lead to the owners house, the other (the left gate) will lead you to the campsite on your right. If the owners are not there when you arrive, just stick around and they will arrive later in the afternoon. Lovely place in nature, clean ablutions with donkey shower. 100 pp per night!
Report Check-InEverything wich is said about this "campsite " is wrong ! In fact, there is no campsite. A nice old Lady tell us to stay along a gravel track, under trees that are broken. No ablutions, except a very, very small metal building. I would like to meet the 2 others travellers who said that it was a wonderful campsite !!!
Report Check-In200 rand the night. Owners weren't there but we had a warm welcome. Very quiet place. Hot and clean shower + toilet. Nice place to stay and free wifi.
