On the way to Matamoros we got stuck in a long traffic jam and turned off to San Fernando. We got a room for one night and the motorhome was able to park safely. 800 pesos/night.

Great gas station with dump and propane.

The Ranger at the Thousand Springs Visitor Center told me to stay here at Bell Rapids Dock. It is open to camping, just not on the dock. It's quiet and on the river, there are test rooms. The posted sign says No camping on Dock. Plenty of room in parkinglot.

Easy entrance at this time of the year. Some water but not at the whole place. Was possible to drive around

First they refused to give us showers, then they wanted 50 BOL for 2. We did not do it.

Surprisingly very good showers. Woman at check in is friendly.
Showers are huge and very clean. You can share one shower as you pay for the time. Pay when you leave

Spot is good but nothing special. Although a lot of tour guides are here fur sunset.

Dump station and water using the gas for 4,99. Without gas I think it was a dollar more. Working fine.

6 sites with hookups in this small town . They do reservations by calling 620-846-2267. 20$ / day little shade but nice concrete tables on a pad .
1 cafe in town . Great stop to pass through on the way to Colorado

Very disappointed we couldn’t stay here, the owner and her daughter were very sweet but they gave added a new gate that is between 1.9m-2.2m tall…I couldn’t get a definitive answer. I wish they would have told me before we drove out here that there was a chance we couldn’t have fit, she asked me how tall we were when we were 5 min from the hostel. We arrived to camp here but the gate was closed and locked with a padlock. No one seemed to be around.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Enjoyed the locals, the markets and the view. Electric works fine even plug into my big rig just charging the batteries. The hotel has laundry service. Bathrooms are typical of most campsites, shower water cold , pool on the caution side however they were installing a new pump and vacuum cleaning system. We took a private boat tour with Eligio 502 3733 5812 WhatsApp to the north side villages and enjoyed the tours provided of honey, ceramics, art studio, textiles and coffee. The city tour with a tuk tuk guide San Pablo with a bit of myan and local history thrown in was also interesting.

There’s a sign that says no camping but nothing that says no overnight parking. There’s some trails here but the sign says to wear orange (for hunting) but imma savage so I didn’t…. There’s a pretty pond that the trail leads to. Very quiet when there’s no cars going by. Listening to the rain drizzling, very peaceful:)

I heard a truck pull in around 6:15am. Never knocked but I’m sure it was a neighbor that was curious who it was. This is practically out in the middle of nowhere so be ready for angry rednecks lol

We didn’t spend the night because coming from Cutervo, it’s a dirt road to get there. We left Cutervo at nightfall so not an ideal piece of route. I do want to confirm the spot is there, easily accessible and much nicer to stay at than in the city! All green with a nice view, very flat and big entrance. Just try to get there at daytime! ;)

Very clean, nice park with dumping station. normally, there is drinking water, but at this time of the year, the water is closed. But you can still use the dumping .

Small but clean and confortable camping, located at wonderfull beach. Owners, Roberto and Suzana are fantastic. Eletricity and water available. Also, kitchen available. Safety and nice place to stay.

Flat gravel lot with a lot of space next to the rock climbing walls. Easy short drive on a dirt road. Plenty of levelled spaces. Vert quiet. Spent 2 nights. Good cell reception.

Great spot for the night. Super quiet and peaceful. Parked next to the fire ring. The ground was rocky here. I didn’t have a problem getting in and out.

Best deal of the trip! 1 huge plates of food. Four beers. $20. Nice cool and shady restaurant. Very friendly staff. Banos! Great stop!
