I got stuck here in my sprinter, probably would’ve been ok if I didn’t make a series of dumb mistakes, but not worth coming down here anyway. Just stay on the main road.

So this is legit like residential parking and it felt very wrong parking here, however no one bothered us and it was quiet. Stayed in the tallest and longest sprinter van and I stuck out over the parking spots a hood 3-4ft with my back hanging over the grass. So it’s not big rig friendly, however me and one other van parked this way and had no problems. You have to move over to the park parking lot at 8 am for sweeping though. Nearby park is closed from 2-4am but we just moved over there at 7:30 and stayed the rest of the day.

Very cute and quiet town to spend the night. Ask at the municipality or directly at the town security if you can spend the night inside the mercado on the 2nd floor.
There's toilets and water available and salchipapas in the evening.
Free municipal wifi and electrical outlets too.

Arrived at 10:00pm with my friend in our vans. We received a knock from Savannah Police at 11:00pm. He informed us that there is no overnight parking in Savannah and asked how long we were staying. We told him it was just for the evening and would be leaving in the morning. He was nice and let us stay the night with no issue. This spot might be compromised for future camping so use best judgment.

During my visit, I had a wonderful experience at this location. It felt safe, peaceful, and quiet, with plenty of trees providing a serene ambiance. The best part was its beachfront location, offering breathtaking views of the sea. The sunrise was absolutely stunning, making it a truly magical sight

I was able to enter the park freely to go charge my electric car. The chargers is right beside the showers. It's all separate shower rooms. Hot water.
It's closed in the winter.

Camping Scout Struga is a small camping site located on the edge of the city of Struga on the shore of the Ohrid Lake. The perfect positioning only 500 meters from the city center, 400 meters from the main green market, and with 5 different beaches on a radius of 500 meters makes it unique for young people that want active vacation and partying on a walking distance, or families that prefer quiet camping under full day deep shadows of 50 year old trees, and yet close to the main city happenings.

The camping site offers different possibilities for accommodation:

Room accommodation: rooms are equipped with one double bed and 2 bunk beds, or two single beds and two bunk beds including bed sheets, blankets and towels. The camp’s main building includes 10 rooms with a shared sanitary facility (6 showers, 6 toilets).

Accommodation in a Tree house: 5 tree houses each equipped with two single beds, electricity and a separate chill and dining area beneath the tree house.

Accommodation in tents. If you prefer accommodation in a tent, you can choose whether you bring your own tent or we can rent you one. 8 different types of tents for everyone’s preference, each with different size and they can accommodate between 1 and 8 people per tent.

RVs/Trailers/Campers. A separate specially equipped area for motor homes, providing a parking spot for different sizes of motor homes, electricity connection, broad band internet and black and grey water disposal service.

LWB Ram Promaster Van - the road is okay if you drive _very_ slowly! Huge potholes. There are various pullouts along the way, most were occupied. We went all the way up past a cabin and turned around at what looked like a redneck encampment. About .5km before the house is the main “group camp” which was occupied by some people with guns and dirtbikes. The noise died down after I assume they were drunk/stoned. We ended up in a pull-out about half way back to the road.

Called in Maps.Me: Lake Macleod Rest Area. Very nice, big and chilled. It was full of vans and big rigs when we arrived at night. There are toilets and picnic tables. No network with Optus.

We spent one night here on a Sunday. It’s on the main road so many cars pass by until 10pm then it’s quiet until 6am. Here and the entire town are totally safe.

You can pay half the price of the camping and stay the day and use all the amenities, including the showers. The facilities are new, clean and the shower is nice and hot.

Super special place. Plenty of room for a lot of rigs. Few options to pitch a tent, even though it can get super windy. The night wasn’t as peaceful as the scenery though. At around 2am, about 25 Jeep showed up and manoeuvred around (backing up in and out)with their big lights on for over 2 hours. Then at 6:30am it was time for the drone show. Worst night ever!!

There're multiple rvs and cars parked overnight here, it's quiet, nice view.

About 8-10 RV spaces for parking behind restaurant, as stated bright lights and free wifi, very little activity and quiet at night but was very loud early in morning due to construction directly behind restaurant.

Windy, $6/nite, water and pit toilet, clean, NO trash cans.

Very nice spot for a night or more, very quiet, all alone during our stay. Arrived at 7pm, left at 11 am. No one seen, open area on top of a hill, far from a road and from a town. Need a classic 4x4 to get up there. Definitely recommend.

We stopped there for lunch. Wild and rocky place, huge open area, flat, on a hill with a view. Easy to be alone as you just have to stop wherever you want !

The spot is simply magical. Little wind, the water is hot the road to come beautiful. Tips: Advancing a little further on the beach to be even better placed (the sand is hard and the tide does not rise too high) just perfect! I recommend a 4x4

We arrived at about 10:10 pm. The signs at the pay station say 24 hours, but when you use the pay station it only lets you pay by the hour ($5), 4 hour max. It also expires at 3 am. So no overnight parking. We went next door and payed $20 to park in the Holiday Inn parking lot overnight.

Great hot showers! Lockers are quarter operated and washrooms have both a group shower and private changing / shower stalls.

Agreed. Very good. Can be very crowded around noon, especially on weekends. They too make delivery. Parked our bikes directly in front across the street and could watch them while enjoying lunch.

Fine lot, pretty dark and flat. A few car sleepers, but no other RV/vans. Would return.

As described. Nice little town. We stayed 2 nights. Met a few locals. Everybody was very friendly. Don’t miss Mountain Bliss Bakery right around the corner. The scones are fantastic! Also recommend Dewey’s Burger and Fish Co. up the hill. The Montana Huckleberry Burger was delicious.

At the very end of Winegar Rd in Greenfield Ohio, past Crestview Furniture and some horses and a “Road Closed 500 Ft” sign, there is a circle in the woods off the road, before the gate to private property. There is a clear path through the woods to the river (see terrain map). Seems like it could be a local’s access to the river? No cars came by and had a pleasant night over. Absolutely no phone signal.

Arrived around 9pm, the employee at subway were cleaning, ask if it was okay to sleep here. Very friendly and nice said it was okay, just need to park near the road. Not to much noise. Left at 5:30 for sunrise. Ok night but very cold.

As described previously. Lots of pine needles so careful with fire. Not a lot of cars driving by at night and beautiful overlook. 2 bars Verizon LTE
