Wonderful place ! We made it with our 2wd sprinter and it was ok, take your time and it will be good ! Don't take the little road 9131 but continue then you turn the next right (it's easier) All vehicles can make it if it's dry

10ish rigs on a weeknight (7 or 8 fire rings, byo firewood) and a few extra with drones for the sunrise as previously indicated but definitely worth it for the views! Road also pretty rough but doable in a 22ft 2wd sprinter van. Everyone who camped was respectful, such a gem on a quieter day!

Report Check-In

Absolutely stunning views. Crowds flood in for sunrise and sunset photos and videos. But then left just as quickly. Only a handful of people camped overnight. There are fire rings. Pack in pack out.

Not much to add from the other reviews. The views are incredible. You're on top of a mesa, so no protection from the wind if you have it. There were plenty of people staying here on a Wednesday night with lovely weather.

Report Check-In

Very awesome spot to stay for the night. The views are insane! Great spot for sunrise too. The road up was definitely doable in our 2wd sprinter van, but took about an hour to get up and back down due to the bumps and washboard road. Totally worth it!

This site was unlike any other place I’ve camped in my life. If you get the spot where the first outcrop of rock is to the right of the road going in, you can walk up a small hill and see everything for miles. Truly an experience like no other during sunset and sunrise, and an amazing nighttime view as well. It was very windy!

Report Check-In

Stunning views and easy vehicle access for most SUVs. Plenty of space to park

Report Check-In

Best spot to sleep! The view is insane. We were totally alone for the night AND the sunrise! You have to wake up for the sunrise, so much better than the sunset!
Lot of place, many fire pit. Road is sketchy but ok for a normal car if you go slowly. Definitely the best spot I ever slept!

Amazing place to stay for the night! We arrived late afternoon and were all alone until 8.30pm. Some people watching the sunset arrived and a few cars to stay here for the night as well. Everyone was super respectful though and respected eachothers privacy. No nightly visits. Make sure to wake up early for sunrise, beautiful to see. At sunrise again some (quiet) people coming to watch. Around 6.30am we heard a drone flying by but not annoying to us. Besides, it is such a beautiful place, everyone should be able to enjoy it :)

Don’t count on getting an uniterrupted nights sleep here. Continuous parade of vehicles coming in all night, each requiring a solid 5 minutes to get parked. Last vehicles showed up just before 5am for sunrise, thats about the same time the drones took flight. This place is a haven for Instagram influencers, i’ve never seen so many people risk life and limb for a cliff edge photo. Sadly far from a peaceful spot, but very beautiful. That being said, one night in influencer paradise was more than enough.

Super special place. Plenty of room for a lot of rigs. Few options to pitch a tent, even though it can get super windy. The night wasn’t as peaceful as the scenery though. At around 2am, about 25 Jeep showed up and manoeuvred around (backing up in and out)with their big lights on for over 2 hours. Then at 6:30am it was time for the drone show. Worst night ever!!

Really stunning campingspot! The road looks scary in the beginning but it‘s not a problem for a van…
Some locals where there to take pictures but it was very quiet…

Very nice place, with incredible view! You can camp very close to the cliff. Sunrise is magic! May be you will be not alone but they are enough space.

Most stunning place we ever camped at. Some intagrammer was really annoying here at first, but luckily they left.
Lots of space for multiple vehicles.

Incredible, amazing place… wonderful vue but windy… so if you are in tent check for the wind. I was alone a Sunday evening, some locals cars come and go, peaceful, quiet and clean

We came on a random Tuesday and we shared this spot with about 7 other vehicles. So don't go into this place thinking you'll have it to yourself like we did....you'll be disappointed! haha

Super cool place to stay. Unbeatable views, just extremely windy.

Don’t come here. Or at least don’t tell anyone about this place 🤫 but seriously don’t geotag on instagram if you visit.

High up with a beautiful view that is perfect at sunset. the spots are decently flat for camping and there are fire pits

Report Check-In

This is the moonscape overlook. Amazing spot to camp. The sunset and sunrise are gorgeous here. There’s pit toilets at the start of coal mine road about 15 minutes away from here

Great spot...pulled our 20 foot trailer in here for the night...no problem...good graded road. not good when wet! Quiet and great views...zero wind for us...lucky!

Awesome location. Nobody was around as far as the eye can see. Very easy to get here. 2WD can make it. Graded dirt road. The name of the road is skyline view Rd. Which turns into Moon overlook Rd on google maps. Follow it till dead ends

Awesome spot! But incredibly windy the night I stayed there. Beautiful spot, came back another day and there was no wind.
