360 views. A little bit of a drive but worth it for 2 nights alone. Quite a bit of atvs and other motorists along the main road, so take a side road to get some space. Did hear some people shooting on my second day.

My Ford Ranger was shipped from Cartagena and UG Logistics handled the clearing and customs process in Veracruz Mexico. The team is slick, professional in every way. Their communication is excellent and we were guided through the process steps in detail. They spoke English very well and were able to ensure a relatively quick release from the port due to their clear understanding of the process. Highly recommended.

About 2 miles in off Hwy 95. Great spot to overnight or stay a couple weeks. Very clean!

I stayed here on a chilly April Saturday with no trouble, good cell service, and the road isn’t too loud or busy through the night. Beautiful view waking up as well!

Dispersed Camping Site #1 of about 15 on this road outside of Bryce Canyon National Park (and City). One of many dispersed campsites on this loop. Just left past the “no camping” signs. Ahead of Dave’s Hollow. Dirt road drive in, large, grassy spots that was easy to get in and out. There was a cold snap in the area, so not super crowded. Accessible via 2WD when dry. I could see rain making the entrance road super muddy, but might still be 2WD’able. Fire ring and relatively flat. I was towing a 28’ Airstream and didn’t have to level side to side at all! Winning. Dogs had lots of room to roam and it felt like I had the place to myself despite there being another camper up the road. Recommend this spot.

Boats are now 10BOB pp, they run pretty regularly, start 6am from here, last one from the island at 3pm.

Bad experience here.
We were overcharged. At first, the mecanician asked us for $500, which seemed excessively expensive for what he had done to the vehicle. Then when he asked for the price in soles he said 1000 (the ratio is not good at all). He never wanted to give a bill or detail the price of the various parts replaced (without our agreement, we did not have network so could not answer but still). In the end we paid, only to find out later that he'd gone into his own pocket and the parts cost a third of what he'd told us.
If you have to stop here, beware (more than we had!) and ask to pay in the office, not in the garage hall. Don't hesitate to ask to see the boss...

Here is the port where the tours depart for Ballestas islands. There are many different tour agencies which all seem very similar if not identical. The tour lasts 1:30/2 hours, we paid 30 soles each + 11 soles for the NP entrance (if you plan to go to the peninsula as well you can buy a 17 soles ticket valid for both) + a 5 soles tax to pay at the port.
It wasn't the most exciting thing we've done in South America but we liked it, we saw many birds, sea lions and penguins! The tour is both in Spanish and English

Beautiful place next to Yahuarcocha, lots of space for all kinds of vehicles. Hot shower. Simple shared kitchen. $15 for two people + one dog.

Faucets have the knob to turn the water on removed. Unable to fill. Asked inside and the woman said she can't help me due to low water pressure.

Private and quite spot in a small yard over the beach, close to some seasonal rent house.

It is officially closed l saturdays and probabably sundays. The insurance desk is in someones backyard and we were able to get their attention as the owners were home. So even if it looks closed, you can try to get their attention by the gate!

We left our camper at the wild camp spot just below the start of the hike. The “hike” is about 7 km on dirt road. The last km you have to pay 20K each and it is down some steep stairs to a beautiful cave and waterfall. You are limited on the time you can spend there (30 minutes once you reach the cave). It was very beautiful and since we camped for free at the bottom the 20k/p was a pretty good deal.

Great and friendly service. Easy in and out. You get a 20% over 4 gallons.

Beautiful place where you can camp on the grass just next to the beach. Perico is very fun and also the best cook of the region ! 5k to camp, 7k for the little rooms and food is from 5k to 10k.

We stayed there with our 26 ft travel trailer. Wonderful place, lots of space, quiet and good cell phone reception. The perfect place when visiting Zion National park. To access it, initially drive on the "once-paved" road, which is a bit rough with the broken pavement, but just take it slow (It is drivable with any vehicle). Take the second road that goes off to the left (the first one is for ATV's only).

We took the new northern road (instead of through the kids camp) and at least from this side you can't get here anymore! The area around the petroglyphs is surrounded by a fence now, they are building everything more touristy here. But you can stay well above in the hills.

As described, a great, quiet place.
Very clean toilets and showers.
Plenty of space. Pool available. WIFI very good.
Good restaurant, although rather expensive.

Wilco is the owner since one year. We were there for some welding work . We have an MAN 8.136. He did a very good work . It was a pleasant atmosphere in the workshop. He is reliable and we can only recommend him.

Was going to stay here but lots of construction is being done right now and the lot for cars is closed off. Only a few spaces available for larger rigs. Bathrooms were closed but there were portable toilets available. Decided not to stay and moved on.

Loved it here. Felt like a campsite in the US, a nice relaxing vibe and private. We even saw an armadillo!

A calm sidearm of the Senegal river, three kilometres away from the main road. A little tricky to find spots at the river, but this one was perfect! Hidden away by bushes from the side track, hardly any shade around, some goats passed by otherwise no one, water really nice and refreshing! River access muddy but okey.

It didn’t cool down during the night, maybe directly a few meters next to the river it would have been better. Few mosquitoes.

Phone reception switched between Orange 4G and 3G.

Good place to spend the night/day. Our daughter enjoyed the Pool area sooooo much. Paid 30k for 2.5 and our truck.

Camping à la campagne très agréable, harmonie totale avec la nature, nous y avons passez 2 jours, il y a beaucoup d’oiseaux et un petit lac avec des poissons.
Caik le propriétaire est très serviable et sympathique.
L’accès y est facile, l’eau est comprise dans le prix 30reais/pers, l’électricité avec compteur individuel 1real/1kw .

A very pleasant countryside camping experience, in complete harmony with nature. We spent 2 days there; there are many birds and a small lake with fish. Caik, the owner, is very helpful and friendly. Access is easy, water is included in the price of 30 reais per person, and electricity is metered at 1 real per 1 kW. I recommend it. ☺️
