The old highway to get here is doable for a sedan but the last ~.3 mile off it is very bad even for our 4 way drive truck. We are the only campers here. It’s very quiet and peaceful. There’s 2-bar T-Mobile service.

Great spot just off the highway. Head up unmaintained road on the side of the highway and take the second left. There seems to be plenty of spots and many of them have some space between the next site. RVs and campers are up here as well. Have 2 bars on Verizon.

gorgeous sunrise and exactly as described by others. the "small lake" is just some water collected in the dip, it's not bad at all right now. it's hot! not many level spots, I found 2 in the little area that are mostly level but so worth it.

Nous l’avons fait avec un 24 pieds et un trailer. Prendre la 2e route sur la gauche. Le gps indique une route vraiment atroce, mais à 500 pieds tout est beau.

There’s a small shallow lake between coal hill gravel rd where at main access to this area right now. I was nervous but sprinter w ko2s handled it easily. Looks like there are other ways to access from the side but one of them is a steep rough road.

Recommend finding a way out here. Great views, clean, quiet, good reception.

Most of the side roads are either flooded or destroyed and you would need 4WD and Hugh clearance. But one large gravel pullout area that can fit several rigs. Spent a nice night there!

Water is blocking the path into the Camping area. The other path is a completely muddy rutted mess.

Perfect spot for excursions to Zion. It was quite peaceful despite being a popular spot. Plenty of room to spread out and you can find a spot surrounded by shrubs for a bit of privacy.

Lots of people but also lots of space! Beautiful views, fire pits, relatively quiet considering the amount of people. Pretty great spot.

Beautiful, quiet, and clean. One of the better camping areas. Close to Zion. Highly recommend these sites.

Great site close to Zion, camped here for one night. 6 to 7 other campers but plenty of space and privacy for everyone.

Great dispersed camping just outside of the East entrance to Zion. Several mostly flat spots on top of the hill with excellent views of the beautiful surrounding landscape. Far enough from the highway to have minimal road noise. This is a great spot!

Great, free spot next to Zion. Views are best if you can get a spot on top of the hill. Saw everything from tent to huge fifth-wheels up here so it is easily accessible for all. No amenities. 1-2 bars of service on ATT.

Good little spot right off the highway. Lots of spots to choose from, take the second left off of the “paved” road. We had a tucked away spot at the top that did include a fire pit. The road continues further past the second turn off, not sure what’s down there we didn’t go look.

Great spot with lots of room. Asphalt road up to here is really bumpy, but the second dirt road isn't bad. Managed just fine in a 2wd car

Beautiful BLM dispersed camping. Very close to Zion. 1 hour to Bryce Cañón
Plenty of flat spaces

Great spot! Plenty of spots at top of the hill. Very flat and fire rings but check for fire ban. Beautiful sunsets. Stayed here 2 days.

Great spot. Beautiful views nice breeze. We got something in our tire and had to spend most of the day chasing down a tire but still a great place. We have a slide in camper on a Ram 2500. Easily made it up here.

Awesome spot! It’s a paved road to get into the campground but it has many bumps and chunks of asphalt scattered around. Follow the 2nd left as everyone described into this spot for Rv and car. Pick somewhere and post up for the night. Saw a sheriff come by once in the 3 nights I was here

This place was a dream. We stopped at the Dragon’s belly camping spots, but the spots were quite full.
Plenty of wood to forage for a fire.
1-2 bars LTE Verizon.

Awesome area just off rt 9, less than 15 min to zion. Beautiful views, mostly flat, nice shrubs, fire pits, small restaurant 7 minutes away, decent Verizon cell service, multiple spots to pick from, 2wd is fine. Take second left off side road to get in here. 5 stars
