the location of the other post is wrong. This is a very nice gas station. They got water too by the side of the building across from Starbucks drive through. I used 25ft hose and parked right next to the building but it wasn't long enough. I had to fill the jugs and pour them into my tank. I think about 30ft hose would be long enough. One of a few places to get water in November. It looks like they have propane here too, I'm not sure for RV refill as I haven't filled it here but for sure they have 20lb propane tank. Otherwise, Canadian Tire nearby can refill RV propane.Their washroom is super clean and modern, best gas station washroom I've ever seen.

A water spigot north side of the parking lot near the restrooms. Water is potable. The historic Empire Ranch Headquarters is also free to tour. There is a nice Heritage Tour Trail for a short hike as well. Lots of camping on BLM land nearby.

Campground located right behind the dunes at the beach. To enter the beach you walk trough 2 tunnels :)
Clean bathrooms, hot showers, dish washing sinks, washing machine and dryer available.

Nice place for a cup of coffee. They have some small snacks that are all very fresh and tasty. We really liked the scones, chapatis and croissants.

Police moved us on stating this was dangerous and feared we would be robbed or kidnapped.
We set up camp got into bed at 8pm when we got a knock on the van. The police said we had to move for our own safety. As it was dark we were not keen to drive, they offered to escort us to a field opposite the police station in Zempoala, which we have also marked. We spent the night in the field opposite police station which was all good :)

We spent the night here after being escorted by the police at night from the field by the acueducto de padre. It was dark when we got a knock on the van by the police saying it was dangerous here and they feared we would be robbed or kidnapped. We are no pussies, but took the police advice to this field. Maybe a place to stay if you are stuck , it is an ok spot we slept ok and left in the morning.

Nice open field great for solar. Kinda bumpy but a few nice level spots. Probably avoid if raining or muddy.

Water and restroom. Two spigots, one near Truck/RV side and one near Auto side. Both are near picnic tables and exceptionally visible signage states "Authorized Personnel Only". So, I went in and asked if I could fill my water jug at the spigot. The host replied: as long as it's just a gallon jug it's OK. They don't want RV's filling their tanks because who knows how much water that takes. I told the host my jug is actually 2.5 gallons to which she chuckled and said well that's OK honey as long as you're not filling your RV.

Called Dog Mountain RV Park in the Passport America app but it's the same place. A bit run down and lots of expansion work going on. But very nice showers and washrooms included in the price. Acceptable view down onto the Columbia river. A bit of train noise. We paid the Passport America rate of $25 and that's about what it is worth. Would hate to pay the listed $50.

Huge campground with hundreds of spots. This would be a beautiful location if it weren’t for all of the massive campers, generators, and people everywhere! It is essentially a huge gravel drive / open field with spots back to back. We saw two dump stations and port-o-potties. We didn’t look for them, but didn’t see a fresh water fill or showers. If you’re into group camping, want a spot on the beach, and don’t mind a cramped setup…this spot is for you.

We are a family of 4 homesteading on 6 acres. We rent dry campsites for tents and rvs for $20/night and we also have firewood for sale. Each site has a marker and a firepit located at it.

There is a compost toilet available.

Large pull off area, no signs. Stayed 8pm-9am, no issues. Some road noise but white noise generator helped with that. Other parking area further north (on southbound side) gets morning sun for solar but also early hikers, 15 min trail walk to coffee shop. Great Verizon reception, guessing good for all carriers.

As described but there are no recent updates so I thought I'd mention this place has a new name I think. Now going by "Casa Romano".

Also they can park motos in the lobby. There's enough room inside for 2 or 3 full-size ADV bikes comfortably. It's a tight squeeze to get in but once inside plenty of room.

Price is still the same at $20 per night for a private room w/ double bed and private shower. Very comfy bed, very clean room. Best $20 hotel I've ever stayed at. It is not really hostel as there are no communal dorm rooms, but several family rooms and a shared kitchen.

Highly recommend, I found it the perfect spot to rest and prep for the Costa Rica border in the morning

Cheap hotel for the area, no 4x4 needed to access. Pool, bar, cold showers, AC, I think some of the rooms are equipped with a kitchen. We payed $65 for a night.

They have room for tents and campers, so they may be amenable to that.

nice spot for several smaller vehicles. there are lots of pull out in north of Jenner. The one I stayed at the night before had so many vehicles. this one might have been better as it's a little bit smaller and relatively level. not really big enough for big rigs but possibly a truck and small trailer if there aren't other things park there already.

We spent one quiet Saturday night here. We did not go to the swimming pool. There was a police check point til late at night and they were there also early morning... Not a bad place for one night.
