Overall nice for the price. At the Cascade Locks marina. $36 including reservation in the off season (before May). Plumbed bathrooms, trash, and water and electrical hookups.

The view isn't as good as I expected but it's an easy wall to Thunder Island. I included a picture.

The train runs all night, but if your rig has proper insulation it shouldn't be loud. Use some white noise or earplugs if you are sensitive.

Next door is Best Western hotel for $170 a night, to put into perspective.

The PCT/Dry Creek Falls trailhead is just a short walk from here.

Gas station with security overnight. There is no need to fill up your tank. The security guard comes in the evening and takes your name. Costs $3 for secure parking. The night was relatively quiet for a gas station. Good for a night after crossing the border.

Information center was very friendly and confirmed the water is potable. If you’re a tall rig you’ll need a longer hose to reach as the parking behind the building has a height restricting arch.

Huge parking lot for RVs in the back. We didn't notice traffic noise even though our miniature white noise machine was at a low volume.

Stayed 2 nights and it was quiet. decided to try the climbing and it was actually great! we have a large 4x4 rig that is very capable, and we got stuck in deep mud on the way in. Had to winch out. But it had just rained.... it is close to the dump and could probably smell pretty bad if the wind blew just right. Still, we liked it.

Found a spigot in the cobble wall out front but it seemed to be turned off. I may have been mistaken though. Also it was blocked by a table.

Absolutely worth stopping at Rutt's for a bite to eat though

Basic, but large rooms, moderately clean, the whole hotel is in desperate need of a thorough renovation. That said, it's not a bad deal for 25'000 Dinar. I've had worse for $17. WiFi works, shower is hot, staff is friendly, and I was told to park my motorcycle in the hall on the side of the lobby.

Didn’t sleep here but came for a quick shower. Zero hot water! Seems like it’s an issue that’s been going on for months and months. Won’t stop here again.

Quite a big place where you can find a massive selection of fruit juices (we tried a few and were all delicious), cremoladas, a good selection of sandwiches, fruit salads etc.
The price for a juice (in a big glass) goes between 10 and 16 soles, sandwiches are around 15 soles and quite filling. There is no space to park your vehicle in front unless you're on a motorbike!

No services required. Just need a place to park for the night. Somewhere in town or close to town, especially Black Forest.
